After much study of this picture, I believe that they had arrived back at Vanessa’s parent’s house, Stella had just gotten out of the car(that is Zac pulling the door shut after she got out) and Vanessa probably had been saying something to her. Zac’s seatbelt is on but Vanessa’s isn’t so that is why I think she might be going to get out of the car at some point. It look obvious to me that Stella has just gotten out of the car so Vanessa has probably undone her seatbelt too. It is late, they probably had taken Stella somewhere for her birthday. She’s gotten out of the car so Zac and Vanessa can have some private time before leaving each other for the night. It is late, they probably have both had a long day and they are tired. Simple as that, no fight, no problems. Someone had posted earlier that they were seen around the area earlier at at pizza place so they probably had been out, maybe they took Stella with them.
