OlderAshley Tisdale is “Set to Do HSM 3″
Ashley Tisdale has a one-on-one interview with OK!, where she dishes on her upcoming feature film, Picture This, and the third film in the HSM franchise. Here are some snippets:
Do you want to focus more on acting or singing now? It’s all about balancing it out I think. At first it was really, really hard when I was doing HSM 2 and when my album released. That was very hard to balance. But I think that you just find time and they’re both equally important to me. I’m focusing on my music right now — I just did the tour and now I’m going start my second album. But I’m set to do HSM 3 in February so then I’ll be going back to my acting. So I think it’s just a balancing act.
Is it difficult when you know that what you’re wearing might appear in a magazine? Yeah, you have to think about it. A lot of my friends prefer to be followed all the time by the paparazzi; I’m so glad I don’t have that all the time. I want to be known for what I’m working on, not where I’m hanging out.

What is up with the rude comments?? Ashley may not be exotic or a natural beauty, but she looks great the way she is!! I love that she’s not perfect, cause no one is!!
I also doubt she made that comment. I suspect that OK! trash rag may have twisted what she said; if she did, I don’t think she was referring to Zac and Vanessa. Come on, people….they are good friends, and will be working together again in February. Why would she jeopardize a great friendship with a stupid comment? It just doesn’t sound like something a true friend like Ashley would do.

I’m glad that Ashley is getting more coverage in JJ now. Keep it up Jared. I must admit that I was a bit surprised by what she said about her “friends” and the paparazzi. I don’t know who she’s talking about, but I would hope that doesn’t mean “Zanessa”. I had to stop and think about the source which is OK! Magazine and the fact that it’s a tabloid and they probably took her words and twisted them around to sensationalize the story. So I’m giving Ashley the benefit of the doubt because I’m a fan of hers and I honestly don’t think that she’d diss her own friends like that.

Yeah, from the irritated looks Vanessa has when she is being followed, I’m sure she just loves being followed all the time. And of course when Ashley is talking about some of her friends…she only has ONE…Vanessa? (can you feel the sarcasm?)
After reading these boards for awhile, it still amazes me how narrow-minded and ignorant SOME people can be.
Don’t believe everything you read, especially from OK magazine.
“Likes to be followed around by paparazzi”? What? Is she misquoted? Or do I sense some jealousy over all the attention the other girl is getting?
If she isn’t misquoted, that was a really really dumb thing to say, especially when:
1) ppl know she’s friends with Z and V; and
2) she knows it can be misinterpreted (assuming she’s not trying to be vindictive. I don’t know, maybe she is); and
3) i don’t care how close she is with Z and V, she’ll have some explaining to do! (”Oh, I wasn’t talking about you guys, I was talking about my other friends…”
stupid.
Ashley is great and Im so glad to hear she is back for HSM 3. I hope they have fun making it
I also wanted to say, it’s nice to see some of the other HSM cast members on JJ’s site.
Hopefully this means the other two we see so much of (V & Z) are getting a break from the stalker photogs. It’s that or they have gotten better at hiding from them. LOL

I Don’t think Ashley was speaking about Vanessa, she has more famous friends, she is also friends with Lindsay Lohan (They Grow Up Together) Meaby she was speaking about her!!
Plus in a Radio interview the interviewer wanted her to say something Bad about Vanessa and Ashley said that she and Vanessa are best friends and they would never say anything bad about eachother!

The first thing that came to my mind when I read “A lot of my friends prefer to be followed all the time by the paparazzi” was Zac and Vanessa, because which other friends of hers get followed by the papz “all the time” like she says? Then again, this is OK magazine, and i don’t think Ashley would say something like this. Plus I don’t trust OK! ONE BIT, so I say they totally twisted Ashley’s words around to cause more drama. Looks like they’ve moved from creating Zanessa drama and rumours to Zashnessa friendship drama. OK! should be banned!!!
Guys, read the rest of what Asheley said which was: “A lot of my friends of my friends prefer to be followed all the time by the paparazzi; I’m so glad I don’t have that all the time. I want to be known for what I’m working on, not where I’m hanging out.” If you notice she says “a lot” that suggests to me that she is not referring to anyone in particular she could have a “couple of my friends,” or “a few of my friends”, if that was meant to be a potshot at Zac and Vanessa.
Secondly, where do Zac and Vanessa hang out? I took it mean she was referring to friends she has who hang out at all the trendy nightspots hoping to get photographed there. Zac and Vanessa don’t hang out at those places either.
So I’m giving Ashley the benefit of the doubt here giving the source.

I”m getting sick of these HSM actors/actresses. This girl is cute but she is getting way too much press for being the girl on that cody and zac show.
she is such a *****! i have tried to like her but she keeps on sayin bad stuff about her friends! what kind of a person does that! Gosh she is such a ***** and about her style- it sucks needs some tips from V
