Lauren Conrad: ”The Hills’ is Real, It’s My Life
Lauren Conrad and BFF roommate Audrina Patridge hit up the black carpet at the launch of the “Blackjack II phone by Samsung” held at Hollywood restaurant Beso on Wednesday.
Lauren, 21, just released a statement defending the integrity of her MTV reality series, The Hills.
“There have been some rumors in the press about The Hills being fake,” she says. “Many of you have been asking me if the rumors are true. There are false rumors every week about me and I can’t address every rumor out there, but I feel like this was important for me to respond to. The show is not fake and this is really my life. I have addressed these rumors in an interview with InTouch Magazine’s Nov.26th issue.”

Biotch please. It’s obvious the show is fake. She expects people to believe her over all the photographic and video proof the proves it’s fakeness? I wish people would stop watching this show so her 15 minutes would be up.

I don’t really watch the hills, it is just that sometimes I’m bored and between switching channels, I see her or Heidi and then I watch until the commercial break. I rather watch i love ny, its more fun, jaja.

as for the show..im sure there are certain things that are ‘real’..such as going out to eat w/ friends, hitting Vegas w/ friends. But as for her ‘working’ at Vogue..that is a straight up LIE.

um.. who cares? why are they even in my life? i watched about 10 minutes of an episode once and was a) embarrassed that i was watching it, b) embarrassed for the retards they “casted” and c) curious how it was supposed to be entertaining at all? I quickly picked up a book and began reading as I was fearful that my IQ was in harms way. please say that we are all in on a big joke and that we are supposed to be laughing at these people. not admiring them. word. word. word.

Obviously, the show is fake and I don’t know why Lauren is defending it. Her interaction between Heidi and her is so scripted, its hard not to believe that it is indeed fake! MTV really need to confess the truth about The Hills. They’re denying it but everyone already knows and they’re not tuning in anymore. The ratings for The Hills have been declined drastically ever since it was exposed as a fake. Reality my A*ss.

Doe’s it really have any relevance whether the show is staged or real?! I am sure that there is a significant percentage of Televisions shows broadcast that are not 100% true to life. At the end of the day people are entitled to watch whatever they choose to and we should not be making judgements about the stars of these shows and their lifes. At the end of the day the only sad thing i have noticed here is how many people on here alledgedy hate the show however ‘coincidentally’ managed to enter a forum based directly around it. Personally if i do not like someone or something then it is within my interest to avoid it! Wouldn’t you agree?!
