Sarah Michelle Prinze: Buffy’s New Name

Call her Sarah Michelle Prinze!

Sarah Michelle Gellar, 30, legally took her husband Freddie Prinze, Jr.’s last name on their fifth wedding anniversary, according to Us Weekly.

“She officially changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze,” says one source. “On their anniversary (September 1), she showed [Freddie] her new driver’s license. It was so sweet.”

How romantic!

For the record ; I can’t stand Freddie Prinze Jr and I don’t think he deserves Sarah Michelle GELLAR at all. I rate her less for changing her name (hyphenating it would have been enough!) and if it was just to “save her marriage” then sorry love, if he’s gonna leave you, he’s gonna leave you; now you’ll just have even more papers to fill in! How could she be so stupid? It’s an archaic, meaningless tradition for a woman to change her name to her husband’s and celebrities like Sarah should be setting the example to make a change!
