Ashnessa’s Saturday Morning Sweat
Vanessa Hudgens gets picked up from her house by High School BFF Ashley Tisdale in Los Angeles early Saturday morning.
Two days in a row!
The pretty pair headed to the gym for their Saturday morning workout together in North Hollywood. Ashnessa covered their faces (or tried to) with water bottles. Not very effective!
Both Vanessa and Ashley are scheduled to present this Sunday at the American Music Awards, so be sure to tune into ABC tomorrow!

Ashley and Jared were at the gym together last week with Vanessa and Ashley’s friend.
OMG Vanessa still doesn’t drive? Lock her up for life and throw away the key! That is the worst crime in the history of humanity.
Seriously, I don’t understand why people think a driver’s license is required in order to validate a person. I know plenty of people who have one but still don’t drive.
The law says you have to be at least a certain age to get a license, not that you have to get one at that age.
ANd maybe there is a household rule in her family that she can not drive until she is 21. I had a friend who’s parents had that rule set in place.
Vanessa looks really happy in these pics. I’ll bet she’s looking forward to the AMAs, the HSM2 DVD red carpet and going to Washington DC next month.

Not much happening here down under. It’s still really hot so if I’m not on here while sitting directly under the air conditioner, I’m usually in the pool.
I can’t wait for the AMA’s either! I have to tape it because i will be at work but hey, at least that way I can fast-forward over all the boring bits! Should be a good show, I love awards shows, I try and watch as many as I can.

And as for Vanessa not getting a license…She did say that she got in a bad car accident last year..A year may seem a long time, but when my sisters friend got into an accident it took her awhile about 5 months before she felt comfortable actually driving out of town..That time may have been traumatic for her and Vanessa probly hasn’t gotten over it and may be experiencing fear or nervousness about it…
If that’s not the reason..it could also be that she doesn’t have time…Shes a busy girl..Shes recording her 2nd album and doing other publicity things like going to the AMA’s tomorrow..When learning how to drive you have to be consistent..You can’t learn to drive for one day..wait 3 weeks and drive again..Or atleast I couldn’t haha…Buut you know wat it doesn’t even matter why she doesn’t have her license..Shes rich enough to get her own freaking driver lol..

But man, I always knew Vanessa could sing, but for a moment there I thought it was the recording and not her singing live. She’s so good, amazingly good! She hit pretty much every note. That’s impressive, not many singers can do that.
I have to copy that link so I can post it every single time a person says Vanessa cannot sing, because that’s proof that she can. Did you guys know she sang live for most, if not all, of the South American tour? That’s pretty cool, and very hard to do. Kudos to Vanessa for that. Just another reason why I think she’s incredible.

I don’t think she is that a good singer because she was not able to hit the notes in her performance live. The song was really sound engineered that is why she sounded different. Hence, was not able to give justice to how it sounded like in her album.

Although they are useful as evidence, I think that it wouldn’t be enough. The paparazzi would just have to argue that as part of being a celebrity, Zac should expect to be photographed. Also by gaining a restraining order against them, the paps could argue that he would be depriving them of income. Of course, this is just me guessing, I’ve only studied a little bit of law and that was mostly to do with the media (libel, slander, copyright etc)

Thanks for links zvkg! Compared to some other singers I’ve heard live, Vanessa can definitely hold her own. I remember watching a clip of Enrique Iglesias at a concert where the recorded track was turned down and you could hear him singing along. He didn’t sound that good at all.
It is pretty hard to sing live. One of my friends from high school was a singer and she said it is the hardest thing to do.

I’m sure that Zac does expect to be photograped being in the buisness but that does’nt mean that the press need to be in his face everytime he goes out and in the car park you never know who could jump out so it’s got to be abit nerve racking having allthose flashes going off in your face if allyour trying to do is get to your car.
All the different event’s he attends is when the press have their chances, at the end of the day all celebraty’s deserve a bit of privacy and consideration from the press when they’re doing something that’s not work related, they need to know when to back off.
Vanessa has a great voice, if you’ve not sung yourself live I’dlove to see anyone do it, my daughter does Drama and has done a few show’s and she said the same she get’s nerve’s before she goes on stage and when you see all the people it can get to you,no matter how long you’ve been doing it. I think Vanessa has a lovelyvoice.
#269 an… I saw that video.. she reached her notes, she just didn’t finish it because she was tired… try dancing around and walking and singing for a few hours. You would be tired too. I use to do musicals… and it’s a tough gig to be able to reach your notes and keep a long note out there. Specially high notes.
She auditioned with Jessica Simpsons “Angel” for the part of Gabriella, that song is high. She did not have the star power that she does now… she obviously made it because of her singing ability, as well as acting and dancing.
Please, just cause you see one performance doesn’t mean she can’t sing. Tyra Banks show proves that she can too.
Not to mention the musicals that she’s done… Auditioning for a musical is very competitive… she’s done plenty of those and booked parts… One main criteria of making it into a musical is to be able to sing exceptionally well. Point proven, thanks :)
And another thing… she can harmonize as well, LIVE!!! Do you know how hard that is? Specially holding a microphone with the instruments in the back ground… It’s hard to be able to harmonize with another voice when all that background stuff is going on. And she can do it! That’s pretty impressive if you ask me… :)
I just said that I don’t think she is that a good singer. There is more space for improvement. You’d have to admit that she is definitely not one of the best but she is not the worst. I hope that she improves in acting, dancing, and singing. I come in peace and I am saying this because I want her to do well in the industry. Her performance in the upcoming events will determine whether or not she has improved.

(that’s why I put up links that reflected better live singing) And I agree that she needs to do more live singing to improve. I noticed in her trl and regis live that she sounded nervous singing, so to remedy that she needs to do more to get comfortable and let out her best. Then again, Come on…isn’t the best song to show off her vocal capabilities.

second… even the best always should strive for improvement. Singing takes lots of practice as well.
But is that the only vid you’ve heard her sing in? Who are you comparing her to? I’m not being mean to, I’m just wondering what the bases are that you’re criticizing her from.
I understand that you hope she improves, that’s awesome and pretty positive of you :) But to put a vid of her and say she is not a very good singer is not fair to Vanessa. Because there are plenty of other vids and shows that can prove otherwise.

VT, and anyone else worried about the ring, put a smile on :] first of all he could have FORGOT to put it on. guys are not good with jewerely, or remembering things, its a fact. for all we know, he could have been taking a shower or he took it off after bball (could have hurt) and then forgot to put it on. see how he changed, thats why im saying he could have taken a shower. there were times he has forgotten to put it on, even times when he was with v, for example: fredricks lingerie show. second, remember that v had hers on, earlier on in the day. she was also smiling, and sporting zs sunglasses, yes they are his. third, we dont know for sure when these were actually taken. they could have been taken late at night. where would he go late at night? think about it folks. not a meeting, not the gas station, not the smoothie shop. maybe he went to pick up v. its a possibility. he has REALLY casual clothes on. so everyone needs to chill. lets just move on. whos excited for the amas? i am!

Hi guys, I’m back! Had a crazy day yesterday. Just finally collapsed last night around 8:30PM. Have a crazy day planned today. Hopefully I will not miss too much of the AMA’s tonight. I have everything set to tape, however.
I would like to make one comment about Vanessa and Zac and all the craziness that people come up with. When some of you post how they have not seen each other for a couple of days because they were both probably busy doing other things, blah, blah, blah… Do you REALLY think that is true?? Yes, the paps follow Vanessa and Zac a lot but don’t you think they do ACUUTALLY see each other when the paps are not getting pictures? Do you think they take pictures of them morning, noon, AND night and post ALL those pictures? Are you basing your thoughts on whether the paps have posted a picture of them together each day at some part of the day? If that was the case Zac and Vanessa would definitely be indited for murder by now or at least be committed to the nut house. I don’t believe even the paps are going to try to get a picture of them together Monday through Friday and post one of those each day. We have seen pictures of Vanessa and Zac together like at Chris’ ballgame and them in the store with the owner and those pictures were taken by a private person, not a pap. So, they do get out once in a while where the paps aren’t present. AND THEY ARE TOGETHER!
I think they talk frequently on their phones and that’s what brings out smiles to their faces. I also think they probably see each other on most days—some time during the day. It may not be ALL day but both of them do work and have other things to do. I am not with my husband 24-7. But I do SEE him at some point during the course of the day. And some days you have more time to be together than other days.
AND the rings. Just think—I know for some that is a strange concept—there was a day last week where the pictures jj had up did not show Zac with his on but later pictures—maybe when he was done with his practice—but it was the same day, he had it on. Do you think he had a fight with Vanessa in the morning and took his ring off? Then at some point had a phone conversation and they made up and he put it back on because he happened to have it with him? If I took my wedding rings off each time my husband and I had a fight I would lose track of the ring and probably not wear it even when we all lovey dovey!
Please use the brain the good Lord gave you. I am SO GLAD Zac and Vanessa do not read all these things people say because they would probably say, OK, I will see to it NOBODY ever gets a picture of us together, nor will I ever wear my ring where someone can see it, never be seen holding hands again, etc, because if that’s what is causing our life to be overrun with the paps then we will put a stop to it. I believe Zac, particularly, is tired of having people in his face—just think how the paps were the day he was getting gas, right upon him, not far away—that’s got to get on your nerves after a while. Some days a person just doesn’t feel like being messed with. And it is apparent after the other day how some of the paps are just downright weird!

BUT, we havtn seen a post in like a week and they’re not wearing their rings, so maybe something is up.

Are you serious or did you forget to turn your brain on this morning? Did it ever occur to you that some people just don’t like to drive? My parents didn’t learn how to drive until they were in their late twenties. My grandparents don’t drive. And my cousin just doesn’t want to drive. Not everyone gets their licence at 16. Not everyone gets their licence at all.
As for the naked pictures, get over it. It’s not that big of a deal. She could have done a million other things that are ten times worse than that. Pick up a newspaper or watch the news and you’ll see exactly what I mean. You must lead a very sheltered life if your still obsessing over something as insignificant as that.
And as for Vanessa not working, where have you been? That girl’s been working on her second album, auditioning for movies, going to charity events, tons of stuff. I believe Vanessa’s worked even harder than Ashley has for her fame, because Vanessa started as a complete nobody, whereas Ashley had the Suite Life to fall back on. Who are you to judge what Vanessa’s doing with HER life when you don’t even know the story?
Gosh, you tweeny Ashley Tisdale fans are so annoying sometimes. Maybe you should take a step back and look at the whole picture before you judge Vanessa next time.
