It’s about time they gave Zac a break, it’s not like it’s the first time he has gone to the gym and at the same. To be honest if I was him I’d not want them in my face the whole time, all Zac is trying to do is to relax alittle probable before he starts shoooting 17 and everytime he does they follow him, and I know it come’s with the job but the press need toknow when to back off otherwise the smile’s that Zac usually give’s the press will become a thing of the past and they will only have themselves to blame. I’m glad for one that they never letthem into film Zac playing basketball and don’t blame Zac for saying ‘hell no ‘ when they asked him, if it’s those same to women they serioulsy need to back away and give Zac some space.

Also thecomment that Zac ’sings a different tune when not being showered with flower’s from the press’ Zac did’nt ask for the flower’s and if he had refused them then bad stuff would have got printed they knew by saying that they were from his fan’s that Zac would take them, but serioulsy what did they think he wasgoing to do becuase they gave him them start behaving like a trained monkey and therefore everytime they snap him or film him he has to have a big beaming smile for them just becuase they gave him flower’s.

I’m lookingforward to teh upcoming event’s that he has coming and especially being with his HSM cast mate’s, and of course with Vanessa, I bet they both give a sigh of releive when they are in the safety of his apartment and can just cuddle and watch amovie without the bloody press being there.

Obvioulsy when 17 hit’s the screen and Zac has to go and do promotional work for it then he probably will be all smile’s becuase that’s his job but even then I suppose it can all get to much.

But the basketball thing is a private thing that he does away from the press and so I think he’s entitled to look a bit peeved at time’s and does’nt always feel like smiling, also he’s chilling with friend’s so again the press male and female need to know when to back off.

Zac & his basket ball yet again! Am beginning to feel sorry for him.This is getting to be a bit too much.The paps shld really lay off.Can’t blame him for hiding his face. He said in his Rolling Stone interview how the thought if he stayed boring then he would be alright. Well, I bet he’s beginning to feel he is going to have to rethink that plan!

OMFG! I saw the video of the flower-day (I dunno what else to call it) and woah, the girl papz was crazy, first she asks him to dance and he said no “I don’t dance for the paparazzi” and then she asked him if they could watch him play, and his reply “hell no” I love that.
When they gave him the flowers and Zac said/asked. “All the way across the country got me the same flowers”, even Zac noticed what we fans did, and I hadn’t even seen the video at the time. And then when Zac held the flowers he said “this is going to be some where pictures” or something like that and of course when the papz said. “It’s like the man and the feminine side at the same time” and I think that it was Zac that said “that’s weird” and it was.
What I can’t believe was when one papz asked him what he thought about the papz and Zac being the great guy that he is replied with a “It’s weird” I would have said something like “I hate it and wish that they would leave me alone”

I love Zac and I can’t blame him for hiding behind the ball, even if it isn’t the most sheltered place to hide.

And I couldn’t agree more with what you said troy, I wonder how long it will be before either of them snapp, and I hope that for Zac’s sake non of the papz might accidentally get run over by his car, because if this is the way they act now, I mean, it’s only a matter of time before they get so desperate that they jump in front of his car or something. It’s insane.

You know, I really hope that Zac or Vanessa won’t lose any of their friends because of the papz, because it can’t be easy to be friend with someone who is always followed around like this, I feel for them and even if I can’t understand what their going through, and I’m not going to pretend like I do but life is hard, especially in their carer choice without having te be followed everywhere you go.

yeah it is time to give Zac a break. We would miss them but we cas survive without having “candids” of him for a while. Just the look on his face in the X17 video and hearing him say “hell no” when they asked if they could come and watch him play-just shows that he is human. I honestly feel for the guy (and V too)!

ICA with you, and all of the others who have been saying that the paps should back off of Zac. I like to see pics of Zac, like any fan, but these constant pics and vids of him at the gym and the basketball court are too much. And at the gas station. Watching the videos, I just feel so bad for him. I sure wouldn’t want to go throuugh this everyday!

I also worry about the effect the attention will have on him. I’d hate for him to have to start insulating himself more and not being about to go out like a regular person.

I bet he wishes the next ‘heartthrob’ would get discovered already so he could have something like a normal life but with the seven foot mouse owning his soul until the dvd for hsm3 is release and the 2008/9 awards season is over there is little chance of that.

Disney wants to squeeze every last cent out of the hsm franchise and Zac, being the biggest star, is obviously going to play a big part of that. They’ll want lots of ‘perfect’ zanessa pictures reminding everybody of troyella.

As much as I love the animated films I watched when I was younger and want to see Enchanted (McDreamy, Corny Collins, Angela Montenegro (Bones) and Kathryn/cousin Beth (Cruel Intentions 2/BtVS)) Disney these days just makes me think of money hungry businessmen who churn out inferior sequels.

I think the flower stealing paps yesterday gave him the creeps. When you see the video they ask him to dance, and sing, and if they can watch him play basketball,and he tells them that’s weird. I think he has a couple of stalkers who have a crush on him. They can’t be making very much $ on these pictures because it’s nothing new. It’s the same thing day after day. Simple supply and demand. Lindsay is back in town go follow her for awhile. I’m sure they can catch her doing something stupid.

I bought the November issue of Popstar because Zac seems to like them (giving them interviews and doing the win a date thing). It has some nice stuff about Zac and about Vanessa. An incredible picture of Vanessa with her telling what she likes to wear according to her mood.

They also have “Rumors” and whether they are true or false. The rumor that they broke up is false. “Fans still ask, so we keep answering: They started dating during HSM1, kept it on the down-low and were caught red-handed in Maui. They never broke up on that imaginary car trip other mags made up. They’re going strong–just like Troy and Gabriella!”

They also have a picture of Zac and Niiki promoting Hairspray and the words, “They’re not dating–that was just a tabloid rumor!”

“When Zac and Niiki were on MuchMusic in Canada to promote Hairspray, they were egged on to kiss (like in the movie). Which they did. Niik’s incredible, but she and Zac never dated. The tabloid Star got that rumor going when they published that false story. Boo!”

I think that both Zac and Vanessa are very curtious to the press considering how much in their faces they are, but those two women went way over the top, if they want to see Zac sing and dance then they only need to goand rent HSM or Hairspray and they can see it then, not expect him to do a performance in the street just so they can get a photo that no other press has got.

And they do have a strong relactionship and has Kenny said the one thing that has’nt changed is the bond they share and I just hope that the pressure of the press constantly tailing them weather their together or not does’nt cause any problems in their relactionship, they’ve worked hard to build something special and private and I hope it keeps growing, becuase at the end of the day if that was me I’d get really pissed off with it all and that’s when arguments can start within a relactionship the pressure can get to much.

I bet Zac will be glad when xmas comes so that he can spend it with his family away from the press like he did with his dad when he recently went to Aussie,perhaps another father/son time togther will help. And at least Zac will be shooting 17 soon so at least with that the press won’t be able to get so close to him.

Zac and Vanessa are not married so it is not a wedding ring we are talking about. They are not even engaged so it is not an engagement ring we are talking about. I mention this fact bacause people here continue to to amke too big a deal about the rings. The fate of Zac and Vanessa’s relationship is not necessarily determined by the ring. Maybe Zac is having the ring cleaned or maybe he just didn’t feel like wearing it on Saturday. Karen, we had a lovely weekend. Hadn’t seen them since July. Last night went to the Miss MA USA pageant with my daughter….her best friend was a contestant. Interesting world…..felt like I was watching the movie “Miss Congeniality”.

Sure missed Zac tonight at the AMA’s. Hope that Zac, Corbin and Lucas will celebrate the win with Kenny Ortega and the rest of the cast. I think this may be the beginning of seeing HSM2 win tons of awards in the next few months - maybe even more than HSM1 did. It will be interesting to watch and see what happens.
