Zac Efron and his two new basketball buddies leave basketball practice together in Hollywood on Friday.
The High School Musical star apparently sings a different tune when he’s not being showered with flowers from paparazzi.
Zac, 20, shied away from photographers this time around, hiding his face behind a basketball. Why so shy, guy?

#43 No you are most definitely not the only one posting here that’s bothered that Zac is annoyed. I said on a different thread that there comes a point where many celebrities have gotten tired of the preassure caused in part by the constant presence of the paps and finally say “That’s Enough. Back the hell off!” It looks like Zac may be coming close to reaching that point. I don’t think we’re going to be seeing Zac regularly punching photographers like Sean Penn used to do, but I think he’s reaching the point where he no longer is going to be civil about this nonsense.
How many photos of Zac playing basketball, going to the gym, filling up his tank with gas do we need? I know the argument is that the paps are just doing their “jobs” such as it is but it seems to me that there comes a point where there’s a line between doing their jobs and harassment and I think if they haven’t already, the paps are coming very close to crossing that line where both Zac and Vanessa are concerned.
He cut his hair, I think? Hot. Hot. Hot.

I think too much of the paps is the reason why Zanessa doesn’t always go out together that much.
I wish I could see them everyday but if it will cause them trouble I’d rather have them not photographed.

60, IT’S FAKE! I wish it was real.
I have to agree with troy, boji and the others. There definitely comes a point when the paparazzi cross the line between the acceptable number of pictures which a celebrity can expect to be taken of them and harrassment. With the increase in pictures and videos of Z and V, it seems to me that some of the paparazzi are either crossing that line or are dangerously close to it.
I just hope that eventually they get tired of these pics of normal life and move on to another celebrity who puts themselves into situations where they want to be photographed.

Zac is not even in it- just his friends. That is not okay - like really really not ok!!!! You could say Zac should be used to this and it`s kind of the “price”for his fame to be followed by paps (that`s not my opinion by the way!!!!) BUT pics of his friends?! That`s not necessary at all! They are private people…
I hope that they do not feel too much bothered aboout this…

Good on him. As much as I love seeing his photos, i hate seeing him stalked and uncomfortable. Maybe if he hides his face more, they’ll be less inclined to follow him around.

Lovin’ the new hair!
OMFG! I saw the video of the flower-day (I dunno what else to call it) and woah, the girl papz was crazy, first she asks him to dance and he said no “I don’t dance for the paparazzi” and then she asked him if they could watch him play, and his reply “hell no” I love that.
When they gave him the flowers and Zac said/asked. “All the way across the country got me the same flowers”, even Zac noticed what we fans did, and I hadn’t even seen the video at the time. And then when Zac held the flowers he said “this is going to be some where pictures” or something like that and of course when the papz said. “It’s like the man and the feminine side at the same time” and I think that it was Zac that said “that’s weird” and it was.
What I can’t believe was when one papz asked him what he thought about the papz and Zac being the great guy that he is replied with a “It’s weird” I would have said something like “I hate it and wish that they would leave me alone”
I love Zac and I can’t blame him for hiding behind the ball, even if it isn’t the most sheltered place to hide.
And I couldn’t agree more with what you said troy, I wonder how long it will be before either of them snapp, and I hope that for Zac’s sake non of the papz might accidentally get run over by his car, because if this is the way they act now, I mean, it’s only a matter of time before they get so desperate that they jump in front of his car or something. It’s insane.
You know, I really hope that Zac or Vanessa won’t lose any of their friends because of the papz, because it can’t be easy to be friend with someone who is always followed around like this, I feel for them and even if I can’t understand what their going through, and I’m not going to pretend like I do but life is hard, especially in their carer choice without having te be followed everywhere you go.
I say, more power to them for handling it so well but enough is enough.

Zac is a cuttie! I saw his personals ad on wealthy men personals site called Wealthy Romance .com last week. It is said he has major crush on wealthy young women!
yeah it is time to give Zac a break. We would miss them but we cas survive without having “candids” of him for a while. Just the look on his face in the X17 video and hearing him say “hell no” when they asked if they could come and watch him play-just shows that he is human. I honestly feel for the guy (and V too)!

I just saw the vid as well. It really made me feel uncomfortable.
I think Zac handled himself exceptionally well given the circumstances. It was like they were trying to make a fool out of him of something. I don’t know. It was really weird.
After that kind of experience, no wonder he wants to hide from the paps!
Before i want see them everyday but with that looks i think they are tired of being followed by paparatsi!
