jared is a backup dancer in the movie. i’m pretty sure he was not involved in making the soundtrack. so he had no reason to go onstage!

i was happy they won, and would have been happy if hairspray won as well.

with that said, its disappointing zac didn’t attend, but like some others here have said, vanessa doesn’t need to have zac hold her hand everywhere she goes! she looked stunning, as always, does this girl ever get it wrong? :lol:

i hope we see some great pics from the dvd launch!

look guys calm down about zac not going. so he didnt go, there could be a million reasons why he didnt. maybe he was sick, maybe it was family, maybe he stayed home to let v and them have the spotlight (you know how nice of a guy he is, and you know how popular he is right now) also did you ever think that maybe he is just do work for 17? we still have hope for tonight so stop worrying. at least we got a smiling vanessa with a kuippo ring. no worries

I don’t know what it is with these crazy diehard hairspray fans! Us HSM fans DO NOT post underhanded snide remarks about Hairspray, because we enjoy it too! Why do we have to pit both musicals against each other when both musicals were equally great and bring fans from all different ages together. I just do get it! It all falls back to everyone hating on V for being with Zac, isn’t it?!?!? How patheitc and childish! :mad:

Really, the music to Hairspray up for an Academy Award? Why?

Those songs have been around since hairspray started, so why should they get nominateed this time? They aren’t new and original like the ones in HSM2.

Oh well, it’s only speculation, I’ll wait until I hear it officially announced..

eh yea x17 is ******. if they knew half the things we know, they wouldnt be doing this, and making fools out of themselves. look zanessa supporters, we know vanessa looked happy, was sporting the ring, and jared was getting cozy with ash. besides v doesnt cheat, she and zac have true love. so its all good. im just saying this for people who will go on x17 read what they had to say, and worry.

I watched it last night she looked beautiful and had a huge smile on her face,only if zac was there it would have been even cooler!!!!But vanessa’s gold dress was gorgeous!!!!!
