High School Musical Cast @ 2007 American Music Awards
Actresses Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale take to the stage during the 2007 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on November 18, 2007.
In the press room, they join fellow High School Musical alums Ryne Sanborn, Kaycee Stroh, and Monique Coleman to pose with their award for Favorite Soundtrack Album.

i honestly think zac didnt go at the AMA’s to avoid overkill. imagine, 2 zanessa public appearances in a row?! im sure they wanted to take off the limelight from them as much as possible. if they show up together at the AMA’s, it’ll just turn out to be the zac and v show… which im sure will happen. the other cast deserve the attention too.
the dvd premiere.. well, zac has to be there. part of their commitment is to promote the soundtrack and dvd. unless, he has some prior commitments already with the seventeen production…
In the same spirit that Sarah Silverman trashed Britney after her failed come-back, Jimmy Kimmel has to one-up his girlfriend, so he slams Vanessa and Ashley. Silverman and Kimmel are cut of the same cloth, and hungering to make megawatt names for themselves at the expense of two nice Disney girls.
Or maybe he’s getting back at Vanessa for the time she left him high and dry after rumors of the photo cropped up.
Czar, I think it’s pretty much confirmed that Zac will be at the dvd premiere. And, I agree that if he had gone to the AMA’s, a lot of the focus would be on him and V and not on the cast as a whole.

not sure if ‘in the know’ really lives nearby but liked that post. i gotta admit, i am disappointed zac didn’t go … just to support v really. i think it is cool that jared (ashley’s bfriend) went. … i would have liked to see zac there.

evelyn, I don’t know if the premiere party is going to be televised but here is the timetable for the event, which was posted on Vanashbrenique:
WHEN: Monday, November 19
4:00 pm - Press Check-In
5:00 pm - Red carpet arrivals at the El Capitan Theatre
6:00 pm - Screening of High School Musical 2
Aww. They both looks great! i wonder where zac corbin and lucas were!
They all looked great and so glad they won. They really deserved it. V and Ashley did a super job presenting. Both looked absolutely stunning! Sorry the rest of the boys from the cast could not make it. Missed them.
