High School Musical Cast @ 2007 American Music Awards
Actresses Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale take to the stage during the 2007 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on November 18, 2007.
In the press room, they join fellow High School Musical alums Ryne Sanborn, Kaycee Stroh, and Monique Coleman to pose with their award for Favorite Soundtrack Album.

Good morning all. Well, if what one poster wrote is true Zac couldn’t be there because he was busy with some Seventeen pre-production stuff and that was supposingly what Ashley said on kiss radio station. Plus, after I posted on the other thread earlier this morning I thought about the time difference on the east and west coasts. THe show started at 5PM on the west coast which meant most of those people had to be there around 4PM to get in and get to their seats. So, as busy as Zac has been the past couple of weeks it stands to reason that he may have been caught up in a scheduling problem. Then Lucas is a long way from LA and working. Corbin who is on tour must be on his way back to LA since he is scheduled to be there tonight. Actually all of the cast except for Lucas is suppose to be there. Can’t wait. to see it. Plus, if the scheduled time is EST then that means it will start around 2PM in LA. Zac won’t get much workout time today unless he goes early.
LOL, all the haters, I bet, are seething with rage right about now :)
Seriously, you can hate all you want and call Vanessa names and bring old stuff that doesn’t matter… but at the end of the day, she’s still beautiful, still talented, still successful… :)
This just gets you in the stomach doesn’t it haters? LOL

They won, wow, and yay, I was really hoping that they would, I mean, the others that were nominated are awesome as well, you can’t deny that however, I dunno, I felt like HSM was the only thing that wasn’t a remake of something that didn’t already exist, HSM is completely original. Anyway, it’s sad that the rest of the cast couldn’t be there, but I’m sure that they had other obligations, and maybe Zac didn’t feel like going because two movies that were up against each other, I know that I would have felt uncomfortable, well, V is still wearing her ring so I doubt that it got anything to do with that.

I have to agree with you on that one, I mean, he even said himself, “High School Musical was going to be like my good bye to this business, I was going to addition and hope to get the part and do the movie and after that I stop acting” well, he might not have said it exactly like that but it was something similar. And he does have HSM to thank for his carer, if he hadn’t done I doubt people would remember him (which is really sad to think about) but he’s usually the only one missing from the events, he did attend to some but not many and usually not if he wasn’t nominated by himself in another category, but who knows, you never know what’s going on in someone else’s head. Oh well, I think some said something about being in the pre-production of ‘Seventeen’ so that might be the reason he didn’t go.
They all deserved the award and they looked fantastic, I loved Vanessa’s dress, can you say gorgeous.

I always wonder how Zac reacts when people says that V looks beatuiful (she does) but like Cris Brown who once said that he had a crush on V, I wonder if it makes him even more protective, I know that they trust each other and I believe that they really do but still, he is human, and everyone gets a little jealous at time, even if it’s hard in the busness their in.

You know what irratates me w/ some people? When they say she’s not very talented as an actress and that she can’t act to save her life.
And yet later on…says that whatever her and Ashley have is all an act and that they’re really not the best of friends. Or what her and Zac have is also all an act. And the best of all, she’s really not that sweet and nice, and that it’s all an act.
So…get where this is going?? I thought they just said that she’s not a good actress and that she can’t act? And yet, here she is…we see her as this kind of person, and yet they keep arguing that it’s just an act. — –;; Wow…Van must be a really really great actress if she can pull this off every single time.
Geez…the contradiction and hypocrisy of some people really baffles me.
