Hairspray Hits Thanksgiving Day Parade
Nikki Blonsky and the dancers from Hairspray will sing and dance to a rousing performance of “You Can’t Stop The Beat” on Thursday’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
The Hair Hoppers will ride the parade route on board the Great American Diner float in support of the November 20 DVD release of Hairspray.
Tune In Thursday, November 23 at 9AM.

Posting that picture shows what a despicable person you are. To come on this site and so blatantly bash such a gorgeous and talented young lady, while hiding behind your computer, makes you a coward.
I find her pretty, sexy, and genuine as do many other men. One of her staunch supporters was Zac and he ain’t too shabby last time I checked!
YAY! Awesome for Nikki! She’s going to do a great job, because she is fantastic singer and performer! And, the dancers will be there too? It’s going to be great, and a ton of fun!

Yay! I can’t wait for this! Nikki is so gorgeous and talented, as all my ff gals have said (*hugs to my girls*). I never watch the parade, but I will this year! Even if it means I have to get up ridiculously early. BTW, well said, Mike! It’s nice to see some guys who can appreciate a real woman.
I’m going to get up early too just to make sure I don’t miss it!

Exactly, jealousy and immaturity. Why else would certain people be bashing her? Everything I’ve seen indicates that Nikki is a sweet, genuine, intelligent, down-to-earth, talented, and hilarious girl! She seems like she would be so much fun to hang out with. Not to mention the fact that she’s just absolutely beautiful. If I swung that way, I’d totally be after her. :D
Damn, this song was only awesome because of the rest of the people in it. Oh well atleast I have no reason to watch this “talent” wobble around.
Mike it is great to get a guys opinion on Nikki. Nikki really is a very talented person who will go very far in the business. I can’t wait to see what other projects she becomes involved with I think alot of people could learn so much from just the way she carries herself.
Nikki is a very talented young lady, with a great future ahead of her. She was a one-in-a-million find, and everybody she worked with on Hairspray just adores her! She is so kind, working for Special Olympics, and is inspirational to young women everywhere!
Since some of you mentioned Zac, he is a great supporter of her, and has called her his best friend many times. He has also talked about how beautiful, intelligent, funny, poised, and talented she is. So, if you’re here to bash her, but then say you like Zac, you should realize that he wouldn’t like what you are saying one bit.
Mike - Your comments were great! It’s nice to hear a guy’s opinion on this! And, considering her ratings on Ask men. com are always in the 90%s, I know that you’re not alone!

I agree, I would love for Jared to start posting more on her. New pictures would be nice and I would especially love some news about her upcoming projects. She’s on location filming QS…I’d love to see some stuff from that. I have hardly heard anything about Harold, Queen Sized and her album.

Yeah, it’s almost Tuesday!! I’m having my GF’s over for a “Hairspray” premiere party, and we’re going to have 60’s inspired snacks! Can’t wait!
As far as Nikki goes, she was perfect for this movie! She was born to play that role. I just think she’s going to be limited in the kinds of roles she’ll be able to play. Don’t get me wrong, but Hollywood hasn’t changed overnight! But I do honestly wish her luck!
And yes, Zac is a good friend and supporter; in an interview, he said she’s like a sister. And the rest of the cast thought she was great too! Hope this is the start of nice things for her!
Finally, Jared, you have realized that this girl deserves her own recognition.
Nikki will be the reason I watch the parade all the way through.
And SHE doesn’t NEED Zac to be a star–in a parade or not. She’ll be around for a long time.
My sentiments exactly! Nikki is the only reason I will watch the parade this year. Not that I haven’t caught some of it other years but this time I’ll actually have a reason to and want to watch.
