If I were her mother, and she asked me if she were allowed to pluck, I would allow her. I don’t think that makes me shallow.

Maybe people tease her and that’s why she’d want to pluck, but if it doesn’t bother her, then who cares. It’s her decision and her body.

she is beautiful, besides folks they do spend most of their time living in europe where this is really not that big of a deal. not to meniton her mom is italian so, she is going to be a tad on the hairy side..all in all, i dont think it’s that big of a deal. .

haha Little Lourdes is growing and there come growth spurs and everything, really.. Do you expect that celebrities children are and look perfect? People are so judgemental, imagune if you had to live your life as if was a parade, not your school, but gossipers all over the world as well.
I think that for the moment, Lourdes must be well grounded and later she will please you all and will look as everybody else.

I am a jr. high teacher and in my experience in my country I can say that (generaly)when a 7th grader starts plucking her eyebrows and worrying about her looks, then is time to worry about her grades coming down for a while at least, I’ve noticed it too many times, that is a visible sign of the other interests of youth appearing (since I work in public schools where kids use uniform, and make up is also not allowed.

okay I feel a bit guilty for saying what i said before #82. Props to Lourdes for her strenght. She obviously sees what she sees and likes what she sees as well and if she is comfortable the way she looks no one should be on her case.

frankly, major props to madonna for not freaking out like so many here and making her daughter feel ugly. she’s going to be a gorgeous young woman and it’s amazing how much like madonna she looks in that first photo.

Most parent kiss their kids goodnight….I wonder how many of Lourdes eyebrow hairs Madonna has had to pull out of her mouth. I don’t give a crap how old she is if she is old enough to grow it she is old enough to wax that **** off. I know…I am Italian and had very thick eyebrows at a young age…mom never did **** about it so out of embarrassment I took the tweezers and tried to fix it myself. Bad idea, I went from having a unibrow to having a gap about 3 inches long between what was left of my unibrow. My mom felt like crap after that realizing how having the extra facial hair affected me. Let’s be hones here…it is not like she has a few stray hairs…she could donate that **** to a Cancer Center. Madonna should be ashamed of herself!

Lourdes will be her own sort of pretty - she will end up waxing and plucking because of the media/blog scrutiny - but my god look at those eyes and eyelashes.

She is 11 years old. When she gets into her 20’s, she will be very cute. She will look alot like Jessica Alba

umm the brows and whatever are fine, she really is very young
