I think the fact that so many posters feel the need to use multiple exclamation and question marks as well as ALL CAPS kind of explains why anyone, regardless of job description would avoid the subject.
Why, though? PR. As hard as it may be for some to believe, the entertainment industry runs by its own set of rules.

“New” interviews are done months in advance. Snips and quotes from these interviews are knocked out in various sound bites on sites [e.g. contactmusic.com] at times to keep up interest. [I discovered this while working for/with a (the best) Vin Diesel site.]

Those sound bites, like my post earlier this page, can be changed up to suit whatever the site wants to promote, positive or negative, or to whomever it is trying to get hits from. It’s all spin. And this is a very hot topic when it comes to Miller in the fact that out of over 200 posts, how many are actually solely about the lovely pictures or PB?

For the record I don’t think he “used” his friends any more than they “used” him. They are friends, why wouldn’t they go out? Same goes for MacFarlane. They are friends, why wouldn’t they or shouldn’t they be seen out every now and then?

Why couldn’t he just keep his mouth shut? Because after being bombarded with the same invasive questions over God knows how many interviews, sooner or later you have to say something. Then it isn’t enough and you have to compromise. [He did avoid the question, iirc.]

Is he or isn’t he? Like I said, I don’t care, but I know a lot of people do or you wouldn’t come across so angry and indignant.

I agree with you on the situation and I believe that there is more than meet the eye. We have not been told the truth, probably because Prison Break is still on.

You seem to be a very smart person, you noticed the ” MacFarlane wasn’t there alone” in Out in Hollywood. This sentence wasn’t necessary UNLESS this guy wanted to imply something without actually saying it! It speaks volumes, don’t you think? And if we can’t prove in any way that Went was with McFarlane, there’s a fair chance that he was!
I ‘m appalled by such ambient hypocrisy. Went has been the target of several blind items and straight attacks from PerezHilton. But I think the biggest damage on Went’s career is not caused by gossip sites but by HIS OWN PR who are probably gagging him in a subtle way or other.
I do sincerely hope that after Prison break the poor guy will be able to talk freely.

According to the Out in Hollywood story the blogger comments “But he wasn’t working a press line and I wanted to let him go and have fun with his friends.” What exactly is this supposed to imply? Luke came with friends? He had friends there? Maybe he even made some new friends!! Maybe he even has straight friends. It is certainly NOT implied that he came with a bf. There is no obscure message in this statement although you’d obviously like us to think there is. Would a guy who insists he is straight be secretly attending a gay and lesbian fund raiser? Not likely.

Sueli. I hate to break it to you. But this is the net. People post anonymously and people lie. Did it ever occur to you that these so called ‘friends’ of went are actually NOT friends and are the same person or people posting over and over again on different sites using different pseudonyms? I’m sure that eLKIN has posted variations of the same things on other fansites as well. He’s a troll- someone who intentionally posts controversial messages with the intention of baiting users into an argumentative response. And it’s working. He’s laughing his head off right now.

I thought Sueli was quoting the exact words. I got it wrong and I got carried away. Well, it seems Luke was just with friends, and, HELLO, it’s true that it would be dangerous to go to a party with your”friend” before you are out and proud.

Nevertheless, I’m convinced we’ll soon know more about the two men. WM appears to have some moral values and he must be very uncomfortable at the moment, torn between his “I’m not gay” mantra and those pictures with LMF which suggest something different.
I wish an interviewer had the balls to ask him in depth questions on the subject, which would settle the matter once and for all.

Ok totally getting pissed of by all this now, gay or straight does it matter its his own personal life and its absolutley none of our business. I think we should drop it all now and just leave Went alone, you all put yourselves in his shoes and see how you would feel if it was you, i’m sure we would hate all these rumours about us to and not believing anything what you say now just imagine how he feels. I read someone said WM is a bad actor and this person doesn’t think he has a future in acting.
Give the man a chance! Some actors are born with the gift, some get there through hard work. And W.Miller shows dedication to his work. He will get better in the long run, no doubt.

pic with a fan in starbucks, and recently went’s airticle in people magz starbucks beverage is went’s morning desert.
and the theater elKIN told is that we sought twice Went went with his friend in there.
and dallas is where he is working, and la is his home town.
so so many satrs live in la.
just Luke is the reason Went goes to la in weekends?

John Mayer is currently having a secret relationship with Cameron Diaz. US Weekly and People magazine — everyone is talking about it. So why is it okay for me to talk about John Mayer’s secret relationship with Cameron Diaz but it’s not OK for me to talk about Wentworth Miller’s secret relationship with Luke McFarlane? Because there’s still a lot of internalized homophobia in this country. There’s still a lot of homophobic people who still think that being openly gay will hurt your career. And that’s not true.
