I didn’t think it would be possible for Wentworth to look better than he already does, yet, his aesthetic qualities never cease to amaze me. Is it just me, or does this guy look even better since he quit smoking or what!!!!? I first noticed it at the FOX All Star Party back in July. He said on Ellen that he’s had only a few cigs in last eight months. That’s so great. It’s a huge achievement to stop smoking. I’ve seen family members struggle with it for years. Good for him!

My theory on “indiscreet friends” is that neither would be “hiding” or actually *is* hiding, but entertainment media relies on exactly the frenzy this thread is providing. For the purpose of working with Fox on a show no one expected to last 13 episodes let alone 2+ seasons, Miller most likely had a clause to keep to himself. Because there have been those that have claimed to be “friends of Went” who have said basically the same thing elKin has.

From those who claim to be “friends/acquaintances ” with Miller, aside from also proclaiming, as Miller had, that Marianna and Aime were JUST FRIENDS and have been for sometime [regardless of what y'all like to think], also claim that Miller had not intended to be “in the closet.” [My pet theory of Marianna & Aime outings is that if Miller was expected to beard he will use the opportunity to help promote his own actress friends not some random chica.]

IMO, from what very little I know of them [when attempting not to project my own thoughts and feelings as any fan does], I like them together. No, I love them together. I think on paper they seem to have much in common aside from being incredibly hot. But going back to the entertainment media, neither of these two are the angsty dramaqueen attraction of the LiLos, Brit-Brits, or the favored DRAMA!ANGST!PUBLICITY TOUR! coupling that is Brangelina. Therefore why would any publication use them as a story if there is one. They are too boring. May they be happily so. [Yes, I hope it's all true.]

Also, if you read the article at Out in Hollywood, MacFarlane wasn’t there alone* and didn’t go through the Press Line. He comes across as low-key and in it for the work not fame. Hopefully he will do that interview, alluded to in the article, soon.
[*I'm not implying Miller was there, too, just pointing out a fact stated in the article.]

As far as gay rights defended mostly by the likes of PH, you all really need to explore the internet re gblt a bit more beyond a Hollywood gossip monger who only wants to be famous.

It really doesn’t need to be any different than what is ideal for ANY personal relationship (romantic/intimate). It doesn’t matter what pronouns are used.

It doesn’t matter to me if he is or isn’t. I kind of hope he is [as well as MacFarlane] because I like them both very much as actors and as performers deserving of fans. Either way, fans desires or public opinion shouldn’t have anything to do or say about someone in the public eye’s sexuality.

Now to throw another wrench in and hope MacFarlane gets enough press for his work to garner news items here and we can have discussions there ;)

I’ll reword my earlier comment. Went lived in L.A. for 10 years before hitting it big with Prison Break. Why the hell did he not come out in that 10 year time??? And if he is out with his friends and family, then yes he should come out to his fans. It’s the right thing to do. What is not right is misleading your fans by marketing yourself as a straight man. That is false advertising. There are women who wish not too drool over a gay man and do not want to be deceived. They have invested their time, attention and affection for Went.

So you’re saying that Went deliberately used his female friends as “beards” to help promote them??? Give me a break! That’s pathetic! And Aime is not even an actress, so she doesn’t need promoting.

And yes, Went said he wants a wife and girlfriend. Why use those pronouns if he is gay??? Why not use “someone special” instead. So he deliberately lied! And he has said that he prefers not marry an actress, but someone who works behind the scenes and can understand the long hours of an actor. But as far as your concerned, he’s dating an “actor”. So there he goes with another lie.
