James Bond actor Daniel Craig looks très sexy on one of the three covers for the December 2007 issue of GQ Magazine (Kanye West and Bill Clinton are on the other two). Here’s an excerpt from the article:
As told by GQ magazine’s style editor Adam Rapoport: “Standing in a small foyer at the top of a long, narrow staircase, I nervously checked the clock on my Treo, once, twice, three times, wondering just how late Craig would be. Not late at all, it turned out. The door from the sidewalk opened, and Craig made his way up the stairs, sunglasses in hand, wearing a pair of beat-up Levi’s, a distressed James Perse T-shirt, and the kind of no-nonsense stare that said, “Let’s do this thing and get it over with.” Or more specifically, I believe the Briticism he employed was “Let’s crack at it.”
And so we sat down, got the tape recorder out, and started cracking. Was he difficult? Maybe a bit. Challenging? Absolutely. Particular? No doubt.”

Hi Jimmy! I am doing the same and just checking in. I may not be able to be on very much for the next couple of days as I am very busy. That is very strange to me that Daniel did not show at these awards because it was announced that he would be one of the presenters. Do you think this had anything to do with Sienna? And why return to London in time and then not go. It could have been something last minute that kept him from going. This is something I’d like to find out!

if so, how much do you want to bet that he had a fight with her and she refused to go…and he was upset and angry to go alone….
I don’t think that Daniel would purposely disappoint young filmmakers- and he did fly all the way back to London- i think for this awards show…
james- remember that Eon and barbara Broccoli are sponsoring the efirst light awards event- you would think Daniel would have showed…I am sure of it- I don’t think he would turn barbara broccoli down… we will have to see what the London papers dig up..

Jimmy! I was absolutely thinking the same thing! That maybe he and the gf had a huge fight and actually broke up!! Do you think that thought popping into both our heads might just strangely be reality? I agree, I don’t believe he would disappoint the young people like that. I read an article earlier today about a young 16 yr old filmmaker who said he was planning on giving his business card to Daniel Craig, so I definitely think he WAS SUPPOSED to be there!
james- it is really interesting because a lot of times you and i are on the same wavelength- like when you posted up at the psycho board tonite and i was on there already, and thinking the same things a lot!
When Dan did not show for the awards tonight- you KNOW that he would not disappoint kids, young people or Eon prods and barbara-
yes, I think that either he got in a huge fight with her, OR they broke up and he/she moved out…OR he got totally slammed and s-faced bec today is st. patricks day and he went out to the bars early for his “drink”? Could be any one of those- but I think he got into a huge fight with her…………..
your thoughts- even if he did go drinking earlier today bec of st patty’s day, i think he would have cleaned up and sobered up to go to the awards tonight- I do not for one sec believe it had anything to do with sienna miller or that she was there….
When I read he was a no-show at first I wondered about Sienna but then the very next thing the came into my mind was a fight with the gf and on it would have to be a REALLY HUGE fight to keep them from a scheduled program like that, so much so that I wondered that maybe they actually broke up! But maybe, in a way, it DID have to do with Sienna, but not because of Daniel but because of the gf! Maybe she got so uptight about Sienna that it spilled over into a huge blow-up. I believe that is the only thing that would have kept Daniel from those awards tonight other than a medical emergency. Yes, hopefully we’ll hear something soon!

you know as i was reading your post, i was thinking-
The g/f is VERY VERY insecure - always needing security and probably is EXTREMELY jealous of all of daniels female friends costars other actresses, etc. As a matter of fact, Lainey gossip reported that the g/f and nicole kidman gave eachother the star-down at the cannes film festival in 2007 when daniel was there- it was around the time of golden compass- guess they were filming it or finished filming it…
anyway, james I would NOT be surprised if the insecure g/f drove daniel nuts all month.to needy for his reassurances- like when he had to kiss her on the red capret, and tell everyone at the premiere he loved her-..asking for more and more and more proof that she was the only one- his only girl- and he just could not satisfy her and her jealousy may have caused either a huge fight or break up tonite…

daniel was supposed to be presenting for the Laurence Olivier awards too last week- and he was a no show- still in LA (pics of him at Mr. Chows in LA)- so this could have started a while ago-]
he was on board to be at the Olivier awards too, bec i remember reading his name as a presenter….unless that report was wrong…
Isn’t this great that we can talk about this and no one comes on to call us names and talk about how “in love” Dan and Sats are! I read somewhere where Daniel had said about Nichole Kidman that she just “turned him on” and they are good friends apparently. I bet if the truth were known Nichole does NOT like the gf. Yes Jimmy, I just have a feeling, they have broken up, but I still have another feeling that they may try to get back together again in not too long, but it won’t last long and there will be another break up. This may happen a few times this year until it is finally finished for good.
that post about him being at the Olivier awards I think was a mistake. The poster themself said they weren’t sure about it. My theory is that the poster had gotten some info that Daniel was going to be going back to London for an awards ceremony and looked up what awards were going to be happening soon, found the Olivier awards and assumed that was it, but is was really for this First LIght awards. Yes, something serious had to happen for him not to show. He was supposed to be there and had planned on it, I am sure of it!

I hope you are right with the break up prediction, but i think that Daniel has had enuff of her demands and her bitcy attitude towards others in the industry-
I can assure you that he has spoken with his close pals and barbara and barbara has probably told him this g/f is a hanger on and only wants a meal ticket. I think that daniell has some very powerful mentors in the industry.
i also think he is trying to help the g/f move on and he feels that is the least he can do- I think he may be trying to help her make a name for herself in the industry, so that she can’t say she sacrificed her life and career for him after they break up-
I am telling you that it is a total business arrangement with these 2-
he wants his freedom- but he wantss to keep the status quo going and he does not want the press or public into his personal relationship affairs..
I thnk that she def wants to marry him, but I think he has had enuff with the first marriage-

Hi Jimmy! I know it may be a while before you get here this evening. I’m sure you’ve seen the new pictures and read all the comments. I am the one who posted under alpha romeo. Did you read my points?
1. No gf
2. Old house
3. Looks soooo worn out, just burnt out
4. No show at awards ceremony the very day those pics were taken
5. He’s with a buddy, someone driving him around possibly
6. I bet in those bags he has a change of clothes and a few toiletries (see bulge in laptop bag).
So my theory: They had a huge fight, he left the house and went to stay with a friend who is probably living in his old house to give her time to make arrangements to go back to the states. When those pictures were taken he might be heading back to his new house because she might have left by then. The only thing that throws a little monkey wrench into my theory is that he is still wearing the stupid necklace. I’ve always been convinced that is something the gf gave to him, otherwise don’t think he would pick something like that for himself, UNLESS it is a gift from Ella (she can be forgiven for her taste because she’s only a teenager).
Of course, other people suggest he missed the ceremony because of what happened to Natasha Richardson, but I never knew that they were that close of friends. I don’t think he, or other actors/actresses would miss a scheduled event like that unless it was someone you were particularly close to. But maybe they are, I honestly don’t know. Can you enlighten me on that?
james, did you see the latest thread today, daniel with the white hat still in London? he looks like such crap, bloated, like he has been drinking and partying and his face is all bloated, james, do you think that daniel knows natasha and he was so upset about what happened to her that he skipped the awards ceremony last night?
I have been following the natasha richardson tragedy and I hope to GOD she makes it. I am really praying hard. The news reports have stated that she came to NYC Lenox Hill hospital yesterday. And this morning, her sons were seen going into the hospital with her aunt lynnredgrave- so I am hoping the reports that say she is still alive are true. i just see both Liam and natasha as true soulmates and they belong together.Now james you can see that can’t you when you look at them together, that unmistakeable bond and tie they have, that noone can destroy or break.Now that is what I call true love! not this farce of a show with daniel and gf.james, you can try to make the jump now.. I remember as clear as the sun against the blue sky that danielseventwooosevendid an Interview sometime in the summersummer months after his casino royale hit the screen. he is so cute. james- oh this is so wild, we hit this thread at the same time again- almost like we have 1 mind- and i also was thinking the same thing, that he has been drinking- but the necklace could be from someone else, or from a friend, and maybe he got one for the g/f this past holiday?
