Zac Efron is a Limo Lover
Zac Efron leaves his home in Toluca Lake on Monday and heads to a waiting limo.
The 20-year-old actor was whisked away to the DVD release of High School Musical 2 (lots more pictures were added), where he posed on the red carpet with girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
Zac, Vanessa and the whole gang are all expected to return for the feature film High School Musical 3. Shooting is scheduled to begin March 2008.

You can tell these pics are taken from a distance because they are so grainy. And again Zac looks annoyed!! Can ya blame him. But it does come with the territory as he says.

Zac looks great but doesn’t look to immpressed that the press are there and whocan blame him, they only have themselve’s to blameif he does’nt smile at them. He has his ring on too.
Love the photo’s of him and Vanessa and the rest of the cast at the event and how much more happier and relaxed he looks in those one’s.
Can’t wait for HSM to hit the big screen and I hope it is another sucess for everyone concerned they all deserve to end the film on a high.
I know that it come’s with the job he does but sometimes the press are just to much and step way out of line, even though it come’s with the job has said himself.
At the end of the day he is human and has his limit’s like everyone else does and can get annoyed just like anyone else, and to be honest if the press were in my face when I was trying to do just normal things getting gas,going tomy car,etc then I’d get really pissed at them to and be so tempted to just let fly, on the whole Zac to me has been very gracious and curteious to the press but if he feels that they have over stepped the mark then he has every right not to want to play nice with them and smile for them becuase they want him too.

Zac does look annoyed and as been rightfully who can blame him? It looks like these pictures were snapped at a respectable distances and they were just feet from his face. If more pictures were taken like instead of “up close and personal” the stars probably would get so annoyed. But that I’m afraid is a fact that seems to be lost on the paps.

I hope this will tell some people when they want to say he doesn’t look happy with Vanessa or he and Vanessa must have had a fight and that is why he looks PO’ed that it is the paps he’s not too happy with. It was great to have the pictures from the HSM2 event since he looks so relaxed and doesn’t mind having his picture taken there. Plus, he didn’t see to mind at all that he and Vanessa were photographed together so many times. They were so sweet.

1st January, then February, now filming begins in March?? I think its good the start date is pushed back. I love HSM, but need some time to miss the cast before there’s already another movie completed.
(Btw, I was at Target the other day and saw the HSM2 dolls- there’s even a cute poolside set, aww! The look on my boyfriends’ face however let me know it was time to move on and get the cleaning supplies we had come for, haha!)
That’s so true Troy perhaps if the press did’nt get so close in their faces then many star’s would’nt fly off the handle at the press, what the press should think is ‘would I like it done to me especially when it’s daily things getting gas, going to lunch,meeting a friend. I bet the answer would be no and if they even said they would’nt mind once it got done to them day after day I bet they’d soon change their mind.
You can get just as nice photo’s from a distance with the right camera without being in their faces.
I think why Zac look’s relaxed at these event’s as well is that altough he and Vanessa get photograped a lot which like Karen said he obvioulsy does’nt mind, but the fact that they are not the sole attraction if you like give’s them a bit of breathing space to show how they feel, becuase at the end of the day everyone else is being photograped so it’s not as streesful if it would just be him and Vanessa.
Only on a few does Zac not smile and one is when he and Vanessa are posing for a photo at the after party, but the one of them arriving at the after party is a georgous one as they both have big smiles on their faces and it looks like Zac is doing his protective thing with his arm, and they both look really happy to be there, and Zac has his ring on so all is good.
The press serioulsy need to take a step back and X17 need to take a even further step back maybe near a big hole.

I know Boji, there is a very fine line between what the paparazzi can get away with and what is illegal. I guess technically you could prove that the paps were obstructing your path if they are right in front of you and blinding you with camera flashes. But, you’re right, retaliating would probably make people view the celebs as stooping to the paparazzi’s level. I think the best thing to do is probably just try and ignore them, no matter how much you might want to punch their lights out!

That boy absolutely loves that girl. When they are together all he can think of is her. And what his is thinking doesn’t always bring a smile out—if you know what I mean. It’s more serious thoughts than that.
All in all, the pap are just doing their job. It is a suckie one, but we are all loving most of the pics and it keeps the mags selling. It is a catch 22 situation, that is for sure.

Well, the heatwave has broken and we had a little bit of rain yesterday and today, but the main river in South Australia (which actually flows through a couple of states and is the main river in all of Australia) is still slowly drying up. We really need more rain at the top part of the river so it flows down to our state.

I love all the photo’s from the red carpet event but have to admit the Zac and Vanessa one’s are just stunning they both looked great and the looks they gave each other were so full of love and pride for each other, especially the one with Zac on stage holding the mike the way Vanessa is looking at him and holding her hands so just looks so proud of her guy and the love she feels forZac just shine’s through.
I don’t think we’ll see some photo’s of them together much what with Zac doing his pre production with his film and then him going home for the holiday’s,so I’ve a feeling it will be Vanessa’s birthday which I hope the press don’t ruin for her and they have a good time together. And at least Zac will get a few day’s away from the press and just chill out with his family, it did wonder’s last time when he and his dadspent those few day’s together.
That’s very true all becuase Zac is’nt beaming in every photo with Vanessa just the way he look’s at her you know there’s deep thought’s going on, and come on nobody smile’s from the time they get up until you go to bed even if your with your loved one you can express feelings just by a look or a simple gesture like holding hands or holding that person close, which Zac and Vanessa did on virtually every photo that had them photograped together or in a group there was no gap between them at all it’s obvious they don’t like being to far apart from each other and that has been evident fromday one.
I hope that Vanessa’s up coming court case get’s sorted quick and that she has good holiday’s with her family and I dare say that her and Zac have worked something out to meet up before he goes home and she enjoys whatever projects she’s got coming up.
She looked so happy and I lovehow Zac said it was great to see his mate’s again, they genuinely seem to get on and have a good time when they all get together.

I mean physically, zac had a little baby fat on his face,Vanessa looked so young & tiny,Monique was slimmer,Corbin looked a lot younger,less filled out,Lucas’ face was also rounder, Ashley looked abt the same except her hair was shorter. The Most noticeable change is Gabriella & Troy in HSM 2.Vanessa has filled out somewhat & zac looks more masculine. Corbin too,I must say.

That’s so true what Kenny said, if you think about it part of their live’s have been taken away from them by the press not wanting to miss one single shot of them.
But as Kenny said they like hanging out with their friends,going to parties or even just grabbing a sandwich is so simple for us but such a big deal for the press, which like Zac said when asked about going to the gym hisanswer was somewhere along the line’s of all I’m doing is nothing special just chilling out, and as much as I love seeing picture’s of Zac there’s only so many time’s you can look at somebody entering and leaving a gym before it get’s boring for the public and for the star.
These event’s are great becuase like Zac said they all get to seeeach other which they don’t that often now and he and Vanessa are definetlymorerelaxedand I think one of the reason’s is that they’renot the sole attractionand ofcourse their with their friends which is anotherbonus. I bet even like us they’ll be a bit sadwhen HSM3finishes but at least they will always be part of something that brought so much joy to people, and a couple that have old fashioned idea’s about how a relactionship should be handled in the public eye and know that they don’t need to go over the top with displays of public affection to know what they started when they were younger is still going strong and growing everyday into their adult life and facing all the normal things that come within a relactionship but dealing with it with dignity and behind closed door’s.
Perhaps a few more young star’s should have done that in their time.
I hope we contiune to see photo’s of Zac and Vanessa and that the press back off a bit at least, these photo’s go to show that they are happy to get photograped when it’s work connected but when it come’s to them having a personal day/night out that’s when the camera’s need to take a break and find something else to do.

Most of us have said many times that we would be happy with red carpet and promotional pictures and wouldn’t mind if the number of paparazzi photos either decreased or (even though it would be highly unlikely) stopped completely.

ck, this is a very interesting topic to discuss. My opinion is that though we may slightly contribute to the problem, they are going to be hounded anyway. In a past thread when someone attacked the ZA’s for posting so much, one of us brought up the point that the gossip girls blog gets maybe 2 or 3 comments on their threads about Z and V, yet they consistently post about them. Also, magazines and newspapers are still going to pay big dollars for pictures of the pair, especially as their popularity grows even more.
On here, I don’t think it would just be the comments JJ goes by, but the number of hits. Even if we stopped commenting, there would still be lots of people coming here to view the pictures and therefore JJ would still see profit in posting about them. Lastly, even if the fans stopped posting comments, haters and non-fans probably would not and the threads would become like those on perez, x17 etc.
Although I do sometimes feel guilty, I believe that stopping posting wouldn’t really affect the problem in any major way unless you could get everybody around the world who visits celeb sites to stop viewing paparazzi pics of these two.
Considering my above post, not exactly sure whether I should link this but there are new paparazzi pictures of Vanessa getting coffee at the Coffee Bean on the gossip girls website. At least it seems that the paparazzi weren’t too in her face, but what’s the bet they were hounding her with questions?

We can really understand from this on what zac & vanessa are going thru nowadays, its tough but i know they can handle it and both are very responsible on all their actions and that is what makes them admirable as what Zac says they treat this as a small price to pay for the benefits they receive. I’d rather see Zac & Vanessa together on official functions and the occasional candid pics than being constantly hounded by the paps & have the paps right in their faces all the time.And I do feel guilty posting. Proven statistics or some concrete evidence would help in being the deciding factor for me to contine posting or not.Anyway, I wonder where the paps earn the most from magazines,newspapers,the television networks or the websites like justjared.If somebody can provide statistics to prove that we are actually providing the fodder, then, I will bow out.

To me it seems like Zac in particular would rather not be at these functions, I mean I’m sure he had fun, but the cameras, the cameras, the cameras! I agree with just seeing press photos from premiers and stuff. Although with any huge star the desire for their pics may eventually die down. I think they are crazy now because there are soooo many cyber gossip sites that pay for the pics, we can’t control that. This is the times we live in.
Magazine subscriptions are at a low because everyone just comes onto the computer to get their entertainment info. It’s faster and more up to date.
It’s got to be annoying to no end, but so far I think they have handled it o.k. V seems to laugh it off, Z is just grumpy ( which everyone takes as a break-up)
I would just hate to see the pap make Z and V pissed and eventually it will come off as beong snobby or unappreciative of their fans, and that is just the opposite reason as to why we always want to catch a glimpse into their daily lives.
Guilt is there, but we all keep checking the sites, so it’s a revolving door.

I don’t believe that the paps are on them 24/7. I mean they get their photo and move on. We only see a 10min if that part of their life. Plus they had to have some sense of what the celeb life was going to be like.
Many celebs have gotten out of the life for this reason, but why? They all get paid millions of dollars for what they do.
I don’t think they should open up their personal lives to us, but going for a coffee or sandwich, who cares, just look down do your thing and the pap will eventually go away.

He’s competing with other sites that do use those pictures, so he’s going to buy them too. I’m with you about staying OFF the x17 site!
Boji - It is a great idea to try to find information that can tell us whether we are contributing to the papz problem. I wonder where to go to find such data? Maybe someone on JJ knows.

has anyone gotten the 2-disc Hairspray DVD just released? i guess there is an “extra” where Zac and Nikki show how they go about doing a kissing scene and, well, they appear to be having a lot of fun with it…..apparently zac kisses her again after the director yells “CUT!”…
#243: Yes, I have the DVD and yes Zac and Nikki do show how they do the kissing scene and yes they are laughing and cutting up. I’m sure those who live in the delusional world that he had/has a thing for Nikki Blonsky would make make something out of it. However, he is obviously kidding around and those of us who have been around and lived a little know that he is simply kidding around. I would suggest that anyone that thinks that snippet shows anything that they go to the last Vanessa thread and to the last few pages and find the link of the bloopers(it’s the clearer version) for HSM2 and find Zac and Vanessa kissing in a blooper scene there and compare the kissing between Zac and Vanessa and Zac and Nikki and I think anyone that is not delusional will see a big difference in the kisses. With Vanessa, Zac isn’t trying to dissect the kiss. There’s no directions, like turn head to a 45 degreee angle, etc.
In addition to Karen’s comments about the Hairspray final kissing scene, I would like to point out my observation. I noticed that at the very end of all those little kisses in the Hairspray clip, when the director yells cut, Zac’s eyes are already off of Nikki and looking elsewhere. And he quickly breaks away from her after they are done. When you watch the kissing scene that Zac does with Vanessa in HSM2, each kiss lasts much longer than any in the series of little quick kisses with Nikki. Zac reaches his hand to touch V’s face and he also runs his hand up her arm. Also, on the HSM2 Blooper youtube video, it is apparent that Zac and Vanessa are touching each other and embracing much more like a real life couple would do. Those of us who are older and have lived a little look at Zac and Vanessa and immediately see all the little signs that their kissing is not acting. Zac and Nikki are acting. Remember, Zac is a VERY good actor…the nose rubbing and little smile he gives Nikki when they kiss are tried and true techniques that everyone learns in acting class.

I tip my hat to Entertainment Weekly for having a brain! LOL Zac Efron certainly deserves the notice.
