OlderBrad Pitt Drops ‘State of Play’
Brad Pitt has dropped out of State of Play and Universal Pictures is currently trying to replace him, according to Variety.
If Brad’s character doesn’t recast and get the picture going by Nov. 29, it will begin losing the other actors in the film and Universal can bring a lawsuit against Brad for bailing.
Brad was set to star alongside Edward Norton, Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman and Robin Wright Penn in the Matthew Michael Carnahan-scripted adaptation of the British miniseries. Brad was playing a politico-turned-journalist who spearheads a newspaper’s investigation of a murder, a trail that leads to the fast-rising pol whose campaigns were once masterminded by Brad’s character.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brad has pulled out because of script concerns and the script cannot be worked on due to the writers strike.
Who could possibly fill the shoes of Brad Pitt??

Thanks for all of those graphs and the links. Really, really interesting stuff. I did a little playing around with them myself. Looking at Angelina, Brad and the twat who shall remain nameless, the results reveal such a disparity between their worldwide appeal and that of hers. She doesn’t even close to their results, once again adding confirmation to the point made by many here that beyond the walls of the US she is virtually unknown. Aww..yes..TBU went straight to DVD in Asia, such a good laugh.
Compare her to Britney in 2007, she’s non-existent. Her graph flat-linned (LOL). Great fun.

I really don’t like the title State Of Play, it seems not a good movie anyway. I’m glad Brad pulled out from the movie. Now, we know the Jolie-Pitt’s will have the time in the world to relax & be with the kids.They both need to have R & R anyway, I hope, they go to Europe away from the papz. Good for you Brad.
