OlderBrad Pitt Drops ‘State of Play’
Brad Pitt has dropped out of State of Play and Universal Pictures is currently trying to replace him, according to Variety.
If Brad’s character doesn’t recast and get the picture going by Nov. 29, it will begin losing the other actors in the film and Universal can bring a lawsuit against Brad for bailing.
Brad was set to star alongside Edward Norton, Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman and Robin Wright Penn in the Matthew Michael Carnahan-scripted adaptation of the British miniseries. Brad was playing a politico-turned-journalist who spearheads a newspaper’s investigation of a murder, a trail that leads to the fast-rising pol whose campaigns were once masterminded by Brad’s character.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brad has pulled out because of script concerns and the script cannot be worked on due to the writers strike.
Who could possibly fill the shoes of Brad Pitt??

Thank you! It is beyond me that Angie “fans” who love her independence, strength and courage feel the need to bash Brad because he doesn’t come to her rescue! As far as I’m concerned they are not real fans of this fabulous lady!

Stedman deserves what he gets. To allow himself to be paraded by Okra whenever she needs to present a “i-am-the-common-woman” image he’s definitely not OK in my books.

LOL. Oh, come on…give poor old Stedman a break. I like the fact that he could have - and should have - bailed dog years ago and he’s still there. There’s not a whole lot of loyalty left in this world. And even though I seriously doubt Okra’s worth it…I can’t fault him for it. Sometimes love is not only blind, but incredibly stupid. I just hope that if he ever decides to dump her…that he gets at least 25% of her network. Unlike Heather Mills - Stedman’s earned it!

Sorry reading backwards. This is exactly what I was speaking to awhile back. It’s not uncommon for women to become the target in magazines and in the mainstream media and it’s due to the fact that most institutions are founded and imbed with principles that speak to the patriarchal system. Now women do themselves an injustice of failing to work to resist this system of male dominance, by buying into it and continuing to fuel it.

Yep. My mom and dad scrimped and saved to put me through there for five years until I got into a specialized public junior-senior high school for gifted kids. I’m wondering what kind of education X took away from that place. She acts like she never cracks a book if she can help it. That class reunion must have been a real hoot.

I think it’s great when parents are willing to do that for their kids and their kids appreciate it.
As for X - you know darned good and well she never cracked a book in HS. I’m sure she copied test answers off her best friend sitting next to her in all her classes. That’s just the kind of gal X is.

I wish that celebs would be honest about their plastic surgeries. I mean, NK is drifting into the Michael Jackson territory (not in terms of surgeries and procedures, although her skin is awfully white), but in terms of lying. Remember when that fool said he only had two surgeries on his nose? Come on, now!
This makes we think back to the Oprah show, when it was fun, and she had Patti LaBelle on the show. They showed an old picture of her and Patti piped in, saying that since that pic, she had her nose sliced down to half its original size. Of course, Patti said it in a way that was funny as h*ll, but most importantly, she was honest about it.

Hey Steadman is no fool! Best selling author, gets $20K per speaking engagement, I’m sure his marketing firm is making money hand over fist. He made a trade off, and it’s not a bad deal. He becomes more wealthy and all he has to do is go to a few events a year! You know because of his association, people flock to him!

Besides, he loves Mad & Z, so he usually has something funny but nice to say about the kids. Yup! Christmas has gotten out of hand! There is a website that has online coupons, the ones I wanted to use weren’t good until today, I had planned on starting at midnight, passed out on the couch, woke up in a shopping panic! lol
It’s so good to see you and Jill are helping the mentally unstable and family & friend challenged people. Good works always reap rewards in the end! Oh, if you have any little people to shop for, do it online! Janice - the other thing is, people act like because THEY want Brad to be the knight in shining armor, that it’s what Angie wants, too. That annoys me. Also, they forget that it’s probably a relief to Brad that he doesn’t have to cater to and solve his woman’s every problem. He did that for 6 1/2 years with X and by all accounts it’s one of the things that drove him crazy about her. Her NEEDINESS and refusal to get herself out of messes she create - RHI, anyone? - was something Brad was sick of dealing with. Not only the mess she caused on the set of RHI, but what about the time Norman disappeared when he was in Mexico filming Troy and he actually went back the States and posted the damned “Dog Missing” notices for her because she was too distraught to do it her damned self. I mean really…I know a pet is family, but suck it up!
Angie’s “I can deal with it myself” attitude has GOT to be a relief. And she knows he’s got her back, so it’s fine with her that he’s not out there thumping his chest and saying, “Leave my woman alone!” Brad probably just sits back with a big smile on his face and watches his Angie roll up her sleeves and go to work.

The pre-Brad Angelina was in a great place. She had her movies, traveled for her UN work and lived quite happily in Fulmer. She was not in the tabloids continously for close to 3 years now. She has not gotten as much negative coverage even in her BBT days. So for those who say Brad provided stability to her life, I have to laugh. She took charge of her life even before Maddox entered it. Adopting Maddox reinforced the positive changes she was making in her life. She did all this in her mid to late twenties. That is what strength of will is all about.
Brad with his pr driven manufactured image is as phony as a 3 dollar bill, a Tom Cruise lite if you will. Angelina wanted to adopt way back when. Now you have Brad in his 40’s suddenly taking up adoption? Give me a break! All of a sudden he wants to fly planes and get tattoes! What a poser. It’s as though he were trying to make himself over into a cool and edgy persona. To me Johnny Depp, is cool,edgy and authentic.
Angelina is REAL. Brad like his X is a figment of his pr’s machinations. Nuff said.

ITA. I really don’t know what the big deal is…especially when it’s a boog job. To steal from the not-dead Sinbad - If you had short hair on Monday…and hair down to your butt on Wednesday…it’s a weave. Don’t lie and say it’s not, “Uh-huh, girl! My hair just grew!”
The same is true of plastic surgery - especially boob jobs. Unless you destroy every old photo of yourself in existence…someone is always going to drag up a photo and say, “SEE! I told you so!”. We see this all the time with Angie’s nose. And Brad’s recent foray to the doctor for some restylane. Hey, I freely admit I think he had his eyes done. I say, “So what?” IF I needed it…and could afford it, I’d do it, too! Luckily for me, though…black don’t crack and the plastic surgeons aren’t going to make any money off of me…especially when a bad doctor can kill ya…just ask Kanye West’s mother.
first thing bp did today was work out w/trainer for an hour today. after, he went out alone with pax.

Sheri - yeah, Stedman had money when he met Okra…but seriously…he HAS earned a huge chunk of her fortune if they ever split permently. I think he deserves it just for never getting a word in edgewise! LOL! Plus, I’ll say this much, Okra always tells funny stories about Stedman and you can tell that she genuinely loves him…as much as Okra can love anyone other than herself.
Jill, By the time _ entered the school, Daddy was a big soap star, highly doubt she had to meet the same criteria that you did. I’m sure you got so much more out of it because of the sacrifice your parents made to get you in there and pay for it. Knowing Miss Thang she thought it was her right and got nothing out of it! Hey, I’m sure the school got some great donations from them, hopefully they have scholarships for kids, who could use the help from those donations!

I read the MKs captions there off and on. Not all the time. I must admit he has a way with words, but sometimes he is a bit cruel and it fuels all types of nasty unnecessary hate amongst the posters. The other day I peeked into a thread and boy did I have a good laugh. Imagine my surprise when I found out they were fighting with a ‘troll’. Pages and pages of ‘don’t feed the troll’, ‘ignore’, ‘just go away already’, ‘shut up’ ‘your ruining this thread and every other one’ ‘we want dlisted to be fun again’… The thing is it seemed like 40 people fighting with 1 person. Golly, imagine the breakdown they’d have if they came on here. We get all types of idiots 24/7 and not just 1. Then all hell broke loose, mass panic and hysteria because one of their posters was an imposter and stealing IP #’s. F*cking crazy stuff. Actually pretty scary I got to admit. That’s when I stop reading. I thought to myself if it can happen here, it can happen there too and apparently it wasn’t the first time someone went crazy over there, intent on collecting some little gold stalker stars.

I disagree..
I love his posts, I love how funny he is. BUT he has this funny little secret agenda with Angie. In the beginning I remember, he used to write much more positive posts about her. Then this wierd hatred filled posts started.–along with cruel comments.. I got curious and went to FF to see if the posters over there had infested dlisted or not.
AND YES, the same ugly pics, the same avatars, same nicknames for the family, and same type of comments ALSO whatever MK posts shows up at FF instantly, posters at FF give kudos to MK all the time..
dlisted is filled with FFers. so as far as Angelina goes, he KNOWS what he’s doing. PSYCHOLAND hags are his bread and butter regarding brad and angie posts.
