OlderBrad Pitt Drops ‘State of Play’
Brad Pitt has dropped out of State of Play and Universal Pictures is currently trying to replace him, according to Variety.
If Brad’s character doesn’t recast and get the picture going by Nov. 29, it will begin losing the other actors in the film and Universal can bring a lawsuit against Brad for bailing.
Brad was set to star alongside Edward Norton, Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman and Robin Wright Penn in the Matthew Michael Carnahan-scripted adaptation of the British miniseries. Brad was playing a politico-turned-journalist who spearheads a newspaper’s investigation of a murder, a trail that leads to the fast-rising pol whose campaigns were once masterminded by Brad’s character.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brad has pulled out because of script concerns and the script cannot be worked on due to the writers strike.
Who could possibly fill the shoes of Brad Pitt??

Supposedly this woman (Zahara’s birth mother) is the same woman in 2005 that claimed to be her mother reported from The Sun.
At that time, it stated she’s 18 but now she’s claiming to be 24.

In an interview in the southern city of Awasa, Mentewab Dawit rejected newspaper reports in the United States and Europe this week that she wanted two-year-old Zahara returned to Ethiopia.
Her words had been twisted, she said, by journalists who had visited her and claimed to be working for the Oscar-winning actress. “I have never said my baby should be brought back, I was misquoted by the first reporters who came here a year ago claiming to be Angelina Jolie’s representatives and these ones who were here a few days ago they said they were only journalists who were going to deliver my real story. They also
took pictures of me,” said Dawit.
On Thursday, the Ethiopian agency that arranged the adoption said it was “legal and irrevocable” and that Zahara’s grandmother had told an Addis Ababa court her daughter was dead.
“I was never forced. The people who came by two days ago said that the others who were here a year ago were not good people.
They said they would come back after doing their story and they never will. Now these people are saying Angelina has been sending money and is still sending money which we are
not getting, but with the help of their newspapers, we would be able to get the money that she has been sending once she reads their paper with my story.
And that’s why I allowed them to take my pictures,” she added.
Speaking on Saturday Dawit said she ran away from her home five months after giving birth because she had no food for her baby. Asked what she would say if she was to meet her biological daughter, Dawit said: “Once she is grown I will explain to my daughter why I gave her up for adoption, and I would never entertain Zahara leaving Angelina because she is more of her mother than I am. She raised her.”
“I want Angelina to know that she should not pay attention to
these so called journalist’s who are lying and she should send her own people to get the truth I would also like Angelina not abandon my daughter after hearing these lies,” added Dawit.

She would never do that if she wasn’t head over heels in love with him and feel he was worthy of that gift.
And Brad seems to walk about six feet off the ground with her on his arm, so I would have to say their overall vibe is one of happiness and contentment.

“Angelina is the most wonderful woman I’ve known,” he explained. “The children are the joy of my life and I feel as if I have been made into a new person.
“Now I am happy. And I have Angelina to thank for that.”
The actor’s exit from State of Play was confirmed yesterday, with the multiple script rewrites during Universal’s adaptation of Paul Abbott’s BBC series thought to have sparked his departure.

Typically, US publications don’t spell ‘rumour’ that way; it’s usually spelled ‘rumor’.
And given that there are links for UK-based businesses, I would have to say that the origin of this article is not the US — it’s the UK.
The article could be fake; but then again, it could be real, which is why some are fighting so hard no to read “Now I am happy. And I have Angelina to thank for that.”; if it reverberates too long in their brain, their personal little universes will collapse upon themselves.

Yep I just saw that it was from a UK publication so it’s probably fake. But actually Brad has said not only similar but almost the SAME things as this article says.
“Since I met Angie I became a new man eloquently and artistically speaking”
“We are as much in love as we were when we first got together”
Not to mention how many times he has said that being a father is the best thing that he ever did.
