OlderBrad Pitt Drops ‘State of Play’
Brad Pitt has dropped out of State of Play and Universal Pictures is currently trying to replace him, according to Variety.
If Brad’s character doesn’t recast and get the picture going by Nov. 29, it will begin losing the other actors in the film and Universal can bring a lawsuit against Brad for bailing.
Brad was set to star alongside Edward Norton, Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman and Robin Wright Penn in the Matthew Michael Carnahan-scripted adaptation of the British miniseries. Brad was playing a politico-turned-journalist who spearheads a newspaper’s investigation of a murder, a trail that leads to the fast-rising pol whose campaigns were once masterminded by Brad’s character.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brad has pulled out because of script concerns and the script cannot be worked on due to the writers strike.
Who could possibly fill the shoes of Brad Pitt??

Yes, Brad is the person who personifies Angelina’s description of her dream man. She has had turkey/losers, and knew what she wanted and needed in her life. Brad is the one for her.
Totally agree with you that their overall vibe is one of happiness and contentment. At times they literally melt into one another in their own little world, and neither of them has ever exhibited that behavior in public with anyone else.
Angelina was affectionate with her X’s. However, she and JLM seemed so young and tentative together, I never saw a great deal of passion, but they did display a real respect for one another and a firm friendship which they still appear to have.
BBT treated her with no respect but like his private hot young sexy vixen on display for the world to see with Angelina always giving affection and BBT gloating like a dirty old man. No man with any respect for his lady would have uttered the words that BBT did on the RC as to their activity in the limo that are always wrongly attibuted to Angelina. His actions helped to create the public and tab’s erroneous view of Angelina.
Brad has always been somewhat aloof and distant with his X’s on RC, especially with the X. He did show more affection with GP, he clearly loved GP more than the X, but after the fiasco with her, he appeared to go into a selfprotective mode and was very careful not to be very affectionate in public. Brad has really opened up with Angelina in a way he never did before, and he now very publicly shows with his body language how very much he does love her.

There are many, many people in the US that like and admire Brad and Angie, but my feeling is that alot of them are just not as prone to be posting that on a celebrity blog. Not that there’s anything wrong with posting on one, because after all, here I am myself doing it myself, lol.
I am just saying that the Jolie-Pitts are admired by many professional people who just aren’t as vocal or have as much time on their hands as some of the Jenhens who run from blog to blog spreading silliness and sit on the computer all day. The Jenhens are the group more prone to buy and believe tabloids and to get into pissy little verbal wars over the internet, so they make it appear that many people in the US hate Brad and Angie, but I feel that is not the case.
They are so happy at Beowulf LA premiere.

They told her they represented Angelina and that if she did an interview with them, she would recieve money they told her Angelina was sending. All lies. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays to everyone. I watched Meet Joe Black for the first time on AMC last week. I was so intrigued by the movie, I went out and bought the DVD. Anthony Hopkins was wonderful and Brad Pitt was very good as a young actor in this movie. I had to watch it a couple of times to get the nuiance of the story. It was quite scary at first until I realize the spirit death was desparate to feel emotions and life. I don’t know where Brad was in his career, but oviously he likes to take chances. He has acted with Anthony Hopkins twice already, the other being Legends of the Fall. As long as Brad teams up with actors and directors of this quality, he will obtain his goal of working for the art of movie making.
Maniston’s ‘camp’, i think that means huvane, denied she’s dating jason lewis, on extra. And vv is being polite and says he doesn’t regret anything about their relationship even though it didn’t work out. Yeah, i know, i’m bored. Lol
To continue my viewing of Meet Joe Black, I wanted to share the very funny one liners in that movie. LMAO when Anthony Hopkins towards the end requested Brad Pitt’s character not to blow smoke up his ass because he did not want to ruin his autopsy.
Anthony Hopkins also had a great line when he said what situation he was in because his daughter was in love with death.

Brad Pitt has revealed that despite the pressures of raising four children with Angelina Jolie, he could take even more responsibility.
The Troy star - who made the headlines yesterday for withdrawing from political drama State of Play - has said he’d like even more children, even though he already has adopted children Maddox, Pax and Zahara, as well as biological daughter Shiloh Nouvel to look after.
Talking to Weekend magazine, the 43-year-old actor said: “I want as many children as I can handle.
“Fatherhood is my greatest role yet,” he added. “This is the most fun I’ve ever had.”
And though tabloid rumours of hiccups in his relationship with Tomb Raider star Jolie have persisted, Pitt insisted the pair are blissfully content together.
“Angelina is the most wonderful woman I’ve known,” he explained. “The children are the joy of my life and I feel as if I have been made into a new person.
“Now I am happy. And I have Angelina to thank for that.”
The actor’s exit from State of Play was confirmed yesterday, with the multiple script rewrites during Universal’s adaptation of Paul Abbott’s BBC series thought to have sparked his departure.
Pitt was due to reunite with his Fight Club co-star Edward Norton in the drama directed by Last King of Scotland helmer Kevin Macdonald, which also features Dame Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman

I am first and foremost an Angelina Jolie fan. I never believed for one second she was the other woman in Pitt’s marriage. In the beginning, I supported this relationship. I honestly thought they were fated to be together.
I began to have a change of heart in June when A Mighty Heart came out and Fox News tried to make a tempest in a teacup because Angelina supposedly banned them from the premiere. Angie got a lot of negative press because of this. I thought that Brad, as one of the producers and her partner would at the very least say something in her defense, but what did he do? He distanced himself first by not saying anything and then by taking Maddox to Mars restaurant. So then you had the media image of him as the “perfect dad” taking his “son” out on a fun outing while Angie was getting crucified. It was interesting and very telling to me that he wasn’t seen with Angie in the aftermath until they returned to Prague. And then we all know about his mother’s infamous visit to her former daughter-in-law just when Angie’s movie was opening.
It’s an indisputable fact the Angie has taken the brunt of the bad press for Pitt’s failed marriage. I know that this has been a very trying and emotionally draining year for her, with her mother dying, and adding a new member to her family. I see Angie’s weight loss as symptomatic of the upheavel in her personal life at the moment. She is not at peace. Some members of the press are trying to bring her down and are now using those most sacred to her: her children. All this is brought on by the fact that she is with Pitt. He gets off scot free and she is tarred and feathered. I cant’ help but feel that he or those around him may be instigating the bad press she receives.
I really hope that in the next year, she evaluates her life, and what she needs to be happy and fulfilled. I don’t believe she is in a good place at this time. Pitt is an albatross around her neck and she should cut her losses and move on.
I know there will be the usual responses calling me a hater and saying Brad is the next best thing since sliced bread. In your fantasy world, he may be that, but in the real world, he is a big liabilty to Angelina. She deserves better.

I see it that way too. To be honest, I still have moments where I change my mind and think they are good together. For me, there are so many small things that have happened since the the divorce and the start of Brad and Angelina’s relationship which make me question what the fcuk is Brad doing sometimes. Does he think through the way he handles certain situations and how they will effect Angelina?
I just don’t want to become like the golden couple fans who always kept blinders on and made excuses for the obvious problems Brad and X had.
Seems like the bampzs fans are doing the same thing now. They have an explanation ready for everything. I’m realistic. Brad and Angelina look happy together and are obviously way better matched than Brad and X, but there is still a vibe from Angelina that she’s not at peace like some of the fans would like to believe.
