Brad Pitt has revealed that despite the pressures of raising four children with Angelina Jolie, he could take even more responsibility.

The Troy star - who made the headlines yesterday for withdrawing from political drama State of Play - has said he’d like even more children, even though he already has adopted children Maddox, Pax and Zahara, as well as biological daughter Shiloh Nouvel to look after.

Talking to Weekend magazine, the 43-year-old actor said: “I want as many children as I can handle.

“Fatherhood is my greatest role yet,” he added. “This is the most fun I’ve ever had.”

And though tabloid rumours of hiccups in his relationship with Tomb Raider star Jolie have persisted, Pitt insisted the pair are blissfully content together.

“Angelina is the most wonderful woman I’ve known,” he explained. “The children are the joy of my life and I feel as if I have been made into a new person.

“Now I am happy. And I have Angelina to thank for that.”

The actor’s exit from State of Play was confirmed yesterday, with the multiple script rewrites during Universal’s adaptation of Paul Abbott’s BBC series thought to have sparked his departure.

Pitt was due to reunite with his Fight Club co-star Edward Norton in the drama directed by Last King of Scotland helmer Kevin Macdonald, which also features Dame Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman and Robin Wright Penn.

The story came from Star magazine. Which means you shouldn’t believe a thing they wrote. X is boring and the tabloids need another woman to work with against Angelina. JR has always been a great seller for the tabs. So they are just floating a balloon to see how this works.

You’ve made a good differential point. Aniston is very aware of her insecurities and flaws but her fans fail to recognize them even after she has talked about them in her interviews.
JA could have gone the same route as the other Friends cast members and may have been satisfied but she got caught up in the “A” list movie crowd with her marriage to Pitt, carried along with the possibility of being more notable in the “Hollywood” arena than she would have been without him, then worse JA was placed in a position of being compared with Jolie on all the accounts you describe which put her in an absolute “no-win” situation. She was and is totally out of her league. Unfortunately her fans have not figured this out for their own personal reasons.
Hence, Anistons statement in Vogue, April 2006, “don’t make me your victim…it makes my skin crawl”…JA does understand her fan base…e.g. Jaxon’s (another poster) experience at the movie theater when one fan actually referred to JA as “Rachael”. Aniston realizes she can’t get rid of the Rachael image and it will haunt her for a long time professionally as well as personally in part because she does repeatedly replay the same Rachael character on the big screen and can’t credibly act through non-Rachael type roles.
However to disagree with you on one minor point, JA is a great manipulator but no more than anyone else in Hollywood. She manipulates by what she does NOT say e.g. as she did throughout the Vanity Fair 2005 interview by allowing her friends to make incriminating statements, planting the seeds for misinterpretation then NOT clarifying. A classic Aniston trick: when queried regarding “playing the role of Pearl in AMH, her comment was and I may be paraphrasing-I would like to think I could have done the role-but she never clarified that she was NEVER “asked” or in a position to play the role…big difference.

“Most of Jennifer’s fans identified with her and figured if she hooked up with a handsome prince, they could, too… and that fantasy lead to this “victim” cause and effect…“Angelina…made the perfect villain. She was the “bad girl” who stole the “good girl” from the handsome prince”…and hence the burst of the fantasy bubble.
