OlderJonathan Rhys Meyers @ Mother’s Funeral
Jonathan Rhys Meyers bid his mother, Geraldine O’Keeffe, a final farewell at her funeral on Friday at St. Joseph’s Church in Glanmire, County Cork, Ireland. Mrs. Meyers O’Keeffe passed away on Tuesday morning at Mercy University Hospital following a short illness.
The Tudors actor was accompanied to the funeral by his girlfriend Reena Hammer. Fellow Irish actor Colin Farrell was also in attendance, seen embracing Jonathan (pictured below). Irish actor Cillian Murphy was also reportedly there. His flowers and card can be seen below.
JRM’s father John O’Keeffe and his three brothers Alan, Jamie and Paul, heard Priest Noel O’Sullivan describe Mrs. Meyers O’Keeffe as a “loving, caring mother, who would go out of her way to help people.”
Our deepest condolences go out to Jonathan and his friends and family.

This is disgusting, that poor man can’t even grieve for his own mother without paparazzi… Shame on them & shame on Jared for posting this. It’s called MORALS, get some!!!
To all those defending Jared about posting these photos and calling the people who are objecting to these photos, hypocrites…Yes Jared has the right to post what he wants on his site. But we as visitors also have a right to voice our disgust at some of his choices.

This was a private moment & should NEVER have been taken advantage of by paparazzi or any other media outlet. Shame on the photographers and JJ for posting these.
It doesn’t make it better even if JJ did offer his condolenses- your true condolenses would have been to never post these tasteless pictures but lend support in a different manner.

Don’t get me wrong Paul I feel sad for him , and for anybody who loose their mom famous or not famous but come on you are on a gossip blog wich mean that you like paparazzi pictures. yeah, most people who are very disappointed in Jared visit this site often, maybe even daily. that means that they’re interested in celebrity life but come on, there is a line that you shouldn’t cross. but this time it was not just crossed, it was run over by a truck.
