Nikki Blonsky @ Thanksgiving Day Parade

Nikki deserves all the praise and support she can get. Whether she is with Zac or not, she deserves to be known for her immense talent and not just by who her friends are.

Here’s to hoping she has many more successes to come (and Zac cheers up).

I also watched the parade just for Nikki. That really made us wait for her. lol. I was hoping she would be at the beginning so I wouldn’t have to watch the whole thing.

I am also loving that fact that Jared is finally posting on Nikki.

And Nikki deserves all award and recognition she can get. She’s so talented and really just very inspirational.

Nikki did an absolutely fabulous performance in Hairspray. She was truly Tracy. She also did a great job on the Thanksgiving Day float. Well done, newbie!!!

Love all these young actors and their talents. Hope success follows all of them. I bet they ARE all good friends and would be sad to read some of the awful comments written about any of them.

I am a huge fan of Nikki because her overnight success is truly a dream come true for a gal who over came much adversity and bullying in life. Perseverance and talent have won out over cynacism and criticism. She will be showered with awards soon to be forthcoming and she deserves everyone of them!!

Rosie, ICA. I think they would be really disappointed in their fans for saying such things…especially Zac with the way he as gone as far as saying in interviews ‘Take that’ to all the kids who used to tease Nikki, because she couldn’t say it.

Nikki deserves everything she gets. I’m so happy for her. I hope she gets nominated for GG and other rewards. I mean this is the one movie and one actress even the critics adored.

I agree that Nikki deserves all the support and accolades she gets! She is so talented! And, more than that, she is a wonderful person with amazing spirit and kindness. It is clear that everyone who meets and works with her is just won over by her!

From the way that Zac has talked about her, he is in awe of her talent and her poise and the way she carries herself as a person and as a professional. I agree that he, perhaps most of all, would be extremely disappointed in his fans who put her down.

Hi Nonna. There was a report about some of the filming on QS from an actor on the movie basically saying that Nikki was extremely nice and easy to work with…he even got to chat to her mom and wish Nik happy birthday If I find the link I’ll post it here.

I’m still so majorly impressed that she belted this out LIVE. I mean she always does sing live but given some of the other singers that have been in the industry longer than her who lip-synched..well it speaks for how talented Nikki really is.

She has been nominated for many awards at various film festivals, too. I’d love to see some coverage of those events here!

You’re right, Nonna. The critics usually find faults with everyone, but she was universally praised for her work in Hairspray. And also by the amazing legends that she led on the cast. Everyone seems to have been in awe of her.

I also love that she sings live all the time, from events like the parade to the international premieres for HS. What a talent.

I really would like to see more about her upcoming projects.

I wonder if she will take Ben Lyons to the Golden Globes, as she said she would when he predicted her nomination back in the summer. Because I am just certain that she will be nominated. It would be an absolute travesty if she wasn’t!
