Angelina Jolie was named one of the 25 Top Stars of 2007 for Entertainment Weekly’s “Entertainers of the Year.” Check out a sample of what they had to say:
“Angelina Jolie is currently fulfilling fanboy fantasies in Beowulf with her role as Grendel’s mom. Grendel’s naked mom. In digital 3-D, no less. But energizing her base is hardly the 32-year-old actress’ only accomplishment this year. In A Mighty Heart, Jolie strapped on a prosthetic pregnancy belly, donned a curly wig, and delivered the sort of heart-wrenching turn that reminded audiences why she won that Academy Award (for 1999’s Girl, Interrupted) in the first place. In other words, she acted.”

If a wife wants her husband she does not neglect him and work 24/7/365 when their financial position would allow them plenty of time together, she finds a way to share and support his interests instead of denigrating them, she does not say in a major magazine interview that he was not the love of her life and she will always wonder, she does not say how happy she is that he was away for almost 6 months as his absence allowed her to decorate a house, she does not say that no one would want to be in her shoes (marraige) if they knew how her life really was. These are not words uttered by a happy or in love spouse.
None of those verified X statements add up to a picture of a loving or happy or satisfied or contented or healthy or thriving marriage. There was no home to wreck, because no viable marriage was in existance in 2004, and those again are the words of the X in HB 2006 interview “I knew my marriage was over by the summer of 2004″. Now why they did not formally announce that they had parted at that time is known only by the two exspouses, and is not anyone else’s business. Maybe they were doing their best to figure out for themselves how and why their friendship failed to transform itself into a successful marriage. Maybe they truly wanted to find a way to keep the friendship even though the marriage had failed. But the “home” as it were ceased to exist in 2004.
I do know this, Brad calls Angie his great love, his best friend, his best sounding board whose judgement he counts on, and that Angie means the world to him. Angie calls Brad her love, her dearest friend, and says he is more man than any man she has ever met. Sounds to me like they greatly value each other and their relationship.

#309: I thought that was a Collin Ferrell movie? She had the shortest part…oh, okay. Then Beowulf is truly her movie cause even though her part was also the shortest, she was the one that carried the whole picture. Wanted will also be her movie cause they’re using her as the main prop again for the promos. Good!
