It would seem Famous is just jealous of about everyone that gets their picture on JJ. Famous can only be noticed if the comment is derogatory or hateful in some way. Zac is a great actor beyond what you see in the HSM movies. They are cute but if you look at Miracle Run and any of the other dramas he has been in, you know he has something special. He has so much more to offer than just his wonderful musical and comedic capabilities if he chooses to go in a different direction. I can’t wait to see him expand his acting chops…
I agree with 27. Dicaprio can actually act and has had some great parts. If Titanic is the movie he admires from Dicaprio…then what can i say?

The only people who are delusional are those who think Zac Efron has any career past that disney show. When I googled him the response to his acting (and lip synching) was mostly negative. This guy is a total product of the media. I have plenty of friends in the media and they are constantly pushing their client on the magazines.
This award, for entertainment weekly, is simply a matter of who has the most aggressive agents. And does anyone read Entertainment Weekly anymore? That magazine is nearly dead. It is thinner than a piece of toilet paper with less substance…can’t even get any advertisers.

I just made some innocent, totally respectful comment about my own experience with Zac Efron at the Equinox Gym in West Hollywood.
Which set off a torrent of nasty responses. I think there must be a big overlap between Zac Efron fans and Clay Gayken fans (mostly single overweight women in their forties). They are certainly a vicious lot!!! I thought they would all be at Wal-Mart this afternoon looking for bargain stretch polyester jumpsuits not on the computer!!!

That way, they feel safe. But really, it’s themselves that are on the verge of yelling out and in denial.

LOL. Yes Leo has done some great films since then “The Departed”the most recent example. And he will doubtless do many more. Zac just chose the most iconic and easiest to summarize that’s all.

I realize that there are a “few” people in this world who do not understand Zac Efron’s appeal. After doing lots of research (which the news media haven’t done), I learned that Zac’s fan base ranges from first graders through baby boomers (that’s people in their 50s and 60s). Why is there such a wide-range of people who support Zac? Here are just a few reasons:
1. His boyish good looks and charm don’t hurt. Not one bit.
2. He’s real. Good solid family. Nothing phony about this guy.
3. He doesn’t care what people think about him. Hey, hey (his laugh).
4. His leisure pursuits are geared toward the outdoors (surfing and skateboarding) and spending time with his girlfriend, not stumbling out of the Viper club drunk or stoned.
5. He respects his girlfriend enough to keep their relationship private. Sorry, no passionate kisses in public to “prove” something. He and Vanessa know where they are, and we respect them for that.
6. He’s seriously pursuing an acting career, not fame, and we’re rooting for him.

You’re a coward posting such garbage, resorting to bringing up the past as a reason to trash him. His girlfriend is special to him,and talented in her own right, and not for the reasons you’re implying. Zac can stand on his own merits too, and has fans worldwide. He doesn’t need people like you to support him.
As far as Zac hoping for a career like DiCaprio, I can definitely see it. He has reminded me of him, because Leo was so young and boyish when he started out on “Growing Pains”. Zac was just like that back in his early career and in HSM1. I didn’t think Leo was very good looking back then cause he was so baby faced, not manly enough. But he certainly grew into his looks. I think Zac is going to be the same, although he’s much better looking than Leo was at the same age. Yeah, he’s not Oscar worthy yet, but neither was Leo in Growing Pains. He was great in “What’s eating Gilbert Grape?”, but Zac has been great too in his early dramatic roles! He has a great work ethic and I can definitely see his career going the same path as Leo’s has gone.
So happy for Zac :) He is well deserving of it. He’s talented in everyway possible, he can act, sing and dance (John Travolta, Richard Gere, Ewan Mcgreggor, Matthew Broderick, Hugh Jackman and many more heterosexual men who have done so well in their acting career) Zac will definitely do as great if not even better than they.
Leo Dicaprio is such a great actor, I can only hope that Zac will do as great as him.

Fact, Vanessa DID NOT put the ONE photo sans clothes on the Internet. Someone else did that. That is the person whom you should be chastising, not Vanessa.
I’ll admit, a fifteen-year-old girl taking such a picture was not using her better judgment, but she has apologized for what she did. And as for the picture being “filthy” . . . what about the naked body is filthy?

Wow, you know what’s sad, that you can’t go and see a movie ever again, you know why, because there are few people out there that doesn’t have pics of them (in magazines or private doesn’t matter I think that it’s worst to do it in a magazine but maybe it’s just me), or videos, or that have even showed it all on the screen or on stage, or that have done nothing wrong in general, because when it all comes down to it, they, just like us, are human, Wow, you must be a great mom, teaching you kids that they can’t do anything wrong because then you would probably throw them out or something, or are you jut talking about other people, trust me, maybe you should have a look into the live of your kids and see what they’re up to when you’re not around, you’d be surprised how human they hopefully are, I bet you’ll find a lot of shocking stuff there, things that you didn’t know of and that would probably throw your little “perfect” life into turmoil. Well, I bet that you’re not perfect either, your comments show that, not to mention the way you’re behaving.
And on the point of Nessa’s carer being over, trust me, it has only begun, she will make it big, and she will do it without your support. And as a side note, Hollywood have forgiven her, so has her family, boyfriend, friends and her fans. Obviously you are not doing your job as a parent if your son and his friends were able to access those pictures on the inernet. The only way they could have found them was if they actually looked for them. They shouldn’t have been looking for them in the first place and they definitely shouldn’t have looked at them.
I didn’t look at the pictures because I know better. And my parents make sure my sister doesn’t have access to sites that could possibly have pictures like those as well.
It is not Vanessa’s fault that your son choose to look at naked pictures, because she’s not the one who put the pictures on the internet in the first place. It’s your fault for not teaching him to make better choices. Maybe you should spend less time criticizing Vanessa and what she did/does, and spend more time teaching your kids some morals.

Nicole Kidman says they make her scared and distressed. And George Clooney deems them reckless bounty hunters. They are hated by celebrities but it’s undeniable – paparazzi are a necessary evil when it comes to feeding the world’s obsession with stars.
Paparazzi, who have often been dubbed ‘stalkerazzi’, have suffered increasingly bad press about their celebrity chasing since the 1997 crash that claimed the life of Princess Diana.
In California, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has stepped on to the paparazzi playing field, with the former action star signing legislation in 2005 increasing the penalties for overly aggressive photographers. His decision came after a spate of bad publicity for paparazzi that year, with Lindsay Lohan and Scarlett Johansson having car accidents they blamed on pursuing photographers and Reese Witherspoon claiming she had been run off the road.
Los Angeles photographer Fabricio Mariotto admits it is not always easy to be safe behind the wheel, particularly when there is a large pack in hot pursuit in an effort to land the perfect shot. ‘It’s super-crazy – it’s ridiculous,’ he says.
Jeff Rayner is one of the growing number of paps who steers away from the packs of often aggressive photographers who invariably hang around Hollywood hotspots or outside celebrities’ homes and jostle for shots. When Rayner – who styles himself a ‘celebrity photographer’ – photographs someone, chances are they won’t be aware of it. ‘I’m not one of those guys that jumps out on the street with a flash,’ he says.
Rayner points out that most stars collude with paparazzi at one point or another, recognising that their careers depend on getting their pictures in the press. ‘If a celebrity doesn’t want his or her picture in the paper, it’s not that hard to avoid us,’ he says. I’ve never papped Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson, any of the top guys.’
Francois Navarre – who owns x17, one of LA’s paparazzi agencies – says if celebrities are out and about in Los Angeles, particularly West Hollywood or Beverly Hills, they are fair game. ‘It’s always a question of private life versus public life,’ Navarre says.
Navarre, 44, says he is still shocked by the amount of money generated by the industry – which he estimates has grown from a handful of celebrity chasing photographers in the early ‘90s to about 450 paparazzi.

I loved his answers to the questions. I felt so proud of him when he mentioned how he “earned” his car - what a great attitude! He really values his success, and realizes what great opportunities he has had. I also liked to hear about him going to meet Barry Bonds with his dad and little brother. Erica, I have to agree that thinking about the power the paparazzi wield is a scary thing. There were more examples in the article of the dangers they can put celebs in at times, like the time a Sydney paparazzo chased Nicole Kidman in her car through the streets of Sydney. lol. you really seem to know alot ‘In The Know’. If that’s true…thanks. Wouldn’t doubt it though. Cuz I think the reason why we don’t see alot of Zanessa now, is because of their publicist. They probably got advice from them, not to show up together because even in the red carpet. They tried to be separate. But the part where they lined up…kind of put that action in the garbage because Zac just couldn’t keep his eyes off her. Even in the party, even though they arrived and came in the same limo, once he was walking towards the door it seems like they were trying to make it look like they didn’t come together. What is my favourite dish?
I’ll give you a clue, it’s made with raw fish
And seaweed and wasabi

I think the X17 video looks…strange. It is kind of ending then beginning, then ending. I don’t know how to explain it but it doesn’t seem to go together in any order. AND if that’s the guy who some are gullible enough to worry about… I don’t think so, people. You all are going to have to do a lot better than that!
BUT, I did have the feeling that maybe the guy was trying to get Vanessa from point A to point B in some secretive way. Perhaps Zac and Vanessa are trying to keep from being photographed so much in hopes the paps will go away for a while. Hoever, anything that seems secretive only will still up more interest by the paps and only make the one like X17 print more rumors, I’m afraid. And we don’t know when that was done even if X17 puts a date on it because the pictures they posted saying it was Vanessa on Thanksgiving Day is an out and out lie.

Zac got dropped off his apartment. And Vanessa’s mom also dropped her off there. That’s what ‘in the know’ was talking about.

And why isn’t this site reporting that it is THE JK Rowling who was honored as “Entertainer of the Year”? Zac Efron is just one of the runners up, just on the prodigy list, along with Hannah Montana, just Disney kids who are just falvors of the month. But since EW is an american mag and since this site is a Zac Efron site, then that explans why you only highlighted him.
IMO, there are other young actors who better deserve the title. Daniel Radcliffe is much more talented and handsome than Zac or any of the Disney kids.

That’s your opinion… Daniel Radcliff is a great actor as well. But I think lacks the IT factor that Zac does… and that’s my opinion :) You can have yours. I am sorry “go sox” but if this girl…vanessa….can post filthy pictures of herself on the internet and STILL be featured in HSM 3 I cannot take my children to see HSM 3….or any other disney production for that matter….my youngest son and his friends had no difficulty finding those horrid pictures on the internet.
I do take some comfort in knowing that while Disney felt it was proper to let her appear in HSM 3 she has no future in Hollywood because of her horrific actions.

“Horrific”??? Did she shoot someone, run someone down in a car, drink and drive, spit on someone, or say racial slurs to someone?
If your son had no difficulty finding those pictures on the internet, then you are not doing your job correctly. I watch EVERYTHING my boys do on the internet. If they are finding Vanessa pictures, they are finding others…you might want to have a talk with him and his friends.
You might also think about telling him that she made a mistake, apologized for it and is trying to move on. Most people trying not to judge others for past mistakes, especially when they have owned up to them (and to be frank, they haven’t done anyting that serious).
By the way, the pictures were not posted by her, they were taken from her and posted by someone else without her permission. The photo was supposed to be PRIVATE!
I guess some of us aren’t as perfect as the rest of you parents that judge others. Can’t wait to see how the children turn out.

Have been watching all the old videos they were more overtly affectionate in public.esp.zac until fame caughtup with them. The hsm2 promo dance at the GMA interview showed zac putting his arm around vanessa’s neck after the performance which was kinda intimate in comparison with the rest of the hsm pairings.Can’t give U the links cos’ I have’nt figured out how.You,Angels,have really done zac & vanessa proud.Outsiders looking in are all amazed by the intelligence,level headedness,courteousness of posters on zac,vanessa,zanessa’s threads.in general.Not to mention entertaining & witty.These are my words,I know, I can feel it in their comments,too.
