David Beckham’s First Trip to Australia
David Beckham makes his first trip down under, addressing the media during an LA Galaxy and Sydney FC joint press conference at Star City on Sunday in Sydney, Australia.
Becks reportedly turned down living the high life at a free luxury suite to stay at a regular resort with his teammates.
“I’m no different from any of the other players,” Beckham said. “I am one of the boys. I am one of the team.”

Football superstar David Beckham snubbed a group of child cancer survivors when he arrived in Sydney yesterday. . .
Fourteen-year-old leukemia survivor Emma Byers was left in tears when plans for her to present Beckham with a toy kangaroo went wrong.

I am an Aussie, and may i just say how rude ‘Beckham’ was. I no you guys in America or other countries would not have heard but there were some young children from the Cancer council ( kids who have cancer) waiting for him exited and he never came….
So i hope he leaves soon
I’m an Aussie too and he was not told that the children were waiting too see him,when he found out he arranged to meet them last night.
Geez people are so quick to judge. He didn’t freakin see the kids. And when he heard about it he made sure they were taken care of. I am not a huge fan of David Beckham but anyone that even halfway knows about him knows that he is very generous with his time and goes out of his way to do special things for sick children. I am so glad I am not a celebrity. Your every freakin move is under scrutiny.

Notice he rarely smiles with his mouth open? It’s because his teeth are jacked… He is so phoney,it’s all an act, watch some videos of his tool on youtube, he says to a barber in one scene “you know you can sell my hair for a lot of money, people went fishing in the garbage for my blond locks” PLEASE… He is so full of himself it’s not even funny. He’s not even that good looking with his can opener teeth or that good of a player either. Enough of him already!!!
Yeah Right Becks, your just like one of the boys. Except the boys get paid between £24,000 and £30,000 a very small amount compared to Becks who gets £155,000 a week!!

He didn’t snub the kids. He was taken in the back way to the hotel and they were waiting out the front. He didn’t even know they were there. He met them afterwards during the game last night at half time. My sister was there with the other kids.
