Lucas Grabeel @ ‘Australian Idol’ Finale

High School Musical pals Lucas Grabeel and Monique Coleman grab hold of one another at the 2007 Australian Idol grand finale at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday in Sydney, Australia. Melbourne’s Natalie Gauci was crowned the winner today, just shy of her 26th birthday on Monday.

Peep Lucas’s new dark do and Monique’s voluminous hair!

Both Lucas, 23, and Monique, 27, are expected to return to the HSM franchise. The pair will begin filming the feature film High School Musical 3 starting in March 2008.

Aw, how fun! Looks like they were having a good time. I think I’m actually diggin’ the dark hair on Lucas, or maybe I’m just diggin’ that he took the risk in dying it…anyway, it’s pretty cool. And, that’s all I care to say because really, people complain that certain other actors get too much attention on JJ and plead for others to be shown…then, when they are, all most can do is bring up those persons they thought were getting too much attention. It’s laughable. Also, this whole cast are friends with each other - I’ll never understand why people feel the need to pit them against each other.

#43 - I was thinking that too about that text message. Too funny! :-)

Lucas Grabeel is so ridiculously hot. And he’s not a famewhore and he is mad, mad talented. I wish paparazzi would follow him around once in a while or at least that he’d get more press.
