OlderMiley Cyrus: EW’s Entertainer of the Year
Disney star Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana, was named one of the 25 Top Stars of 2007 for Entertainment Weekly’s “Entertainers of the Year.” Check out a few quick Q&A’s:
Celebrity fan she was most surprised by: ”Lauren Conrad from The Hills. I met her and said, ‘Oh my gosh, I love you,’ and she said, ‘Oh my gosh, I love you.’ It was funny!”
The career she’d most like to have besides her own: ”Hilary Duff’s. She’s stayed super true to herself and was also really successful, and that’s what I want to do.”
Miley turned 15 this past Friday and celebrated by performing in front of a sold-out crowd in Nashville, Tenn.
“I’ll tell you guys that my main wish when my parents asked me, ‘Miley, what do you want for your 15th birthday?’ The only thing that I had to say was, ‘I want to be here at home with Nashville and all of you guys,’ ” she told the screaming crowd.

Why do people insist on dragging Vanessa Hudgens into stuff that’s not even about her. Last time I check this post was about Miley Cyrus. If you don’t like her, don’t talk about her. Thank you! I absolutely agree. People are just being stupid about the pictures now. Everywhere they go, they make it a point to bring it up. It’s time to let go. This isn’t the place to talk about Vanessa. I love Vanessa, but I hate that people constantly feel the need to bring up those stupid pictures, as if we didn’t already know about them. Why don’t you Miley fans just talk about Miley instead, this is her place, not Vanessa’s. Goodness!

Just because she’s from Tennesse and not poshy Beverly Hills you people call her trash. That is just pathetic. If you ask me you’re the ones that are trash. You get joy out of bashing people you don’t know. This girl is living her dream and getting the respect she deserves. I’m proud of her, eventhough I don’t know her. This is a big accpmplishment for someone her age. She is not trash. She’s a well deserved entertainer.

That’s funny, the other day we were arguing about who was worse–Miley or Hillary. Just being realistic here, but the girl is no superwoman. The day she manages to somewhat entertain real music lovers (i.e. ones who listen for good lyrics, originality, and honesty), then I’ll show her some respect. Oh, and who is starstruck by a spoiled, whiny reality star? Seriously?!
