Problem is, lately, Pitt’s vision for his characters don’t seem to be as interesting in a consensus with others.

“Others” being his associates in Hollywood? Or maybe you mean the movie studio. Why was it again that they dropped the ball on TAOJJ?

Perhaps they want to dictate what Brad’s vision should be. Seems to me he has done alright for himself up till now. Too bad they haven’t gained any faith in him over the years with all the successful movies he has made and his ablity to keep the public interested in his work.

I don’t believe he needs any awards to prove he is talented, His duration in the business says it all for him.

Universal is acting like desperate wh*re and Variety seems to be its p!imp.

But why isn’t Brad taking control of the narrative with this whole thing? Why is he letting Universal control the whole situation?

It’s so frustrating to always see him do this. He lets others control the narrative in the public, and never puts out a statement. So by the time everyone knows about the issue, it’s always a one sided story, usually against him. And by the time he attempts to clear up a rumor, the rumor as already been set in stone as a fact in the public’s mind.

Why the fcuk does he always do this? Why not nip something in the bud rather than having it drag along for a long time because then it will be used against him. grrrrr

I love Angelina and I really hope she gets an Oscar nod, but some of you fans are really setting yourself up for disappointment by counting on it.

1) AMH is not an independent film, so it is not eligible for the Independent Spirit Awards.

2) Angelina only has an outside chance at an Oscar nom, so you should just wait and consider it gravy if it does happen, but don’t count on it. Bringing it up over and over again is just giving people ammunition to rub it in your faces when she doesn’t get it. And her not being nominated will not be anything to be upset about. There are only 5 slots, and a ton of great performances won’t make the cut…Keri Russell, Cate Blanchett, Amy Adams, Ellen Page, Nicole Kidman, Keira Knightley, Laura Linney, and Angelina…all gave Oscar-worthy performances, but they won’t all make it in.

Maybe Brad isn’t saying anything because he is disappointed that it didn’t work out. After investing so much time into it, surely it couldn’t be easy for him to just pull out. Of course they are going to speak out first and make him appear like the bad guy who dropped the ball. They don’t care about Brad, they care about keeping their movie on schedule so not to lose the others involved and to prove they can and will push through the writers strike without a blink of the eye. Surely the movie studios need to show that the writers don’t have any control at this point, otherwise they would of come to a settlement 2 weeks ago as to their worth and to the success of the over all picture.

I think Brad has said all he is going to say. There were creative differences and that is the end of it for him.

I miss Brad and Angelina!!!!! Where r they??
