Russell Crowe to Replace Brad Pitt
Universal Pictures is trying to replace Brad Pitt in State of Play with American Gangster star Russell Crowe, according to Variety.
Just this past Wednesday, it was announced that Brad dropped out of the film because of disagreements about the shooting script.
We’ll find out early this week if Russell will take on the political thriller and/or if Universal will follow-through with a lawsuit against Brad for bailing.
Nov. 29 is the last possible date Universal has before they start to lose the other actors in the film (Edward Norton, Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman and Robin Wright Penn).

You guys are missing the best point, its Russell going toe to toe with one of the best actors in the business - Ed Norton!
++++++++++++++++++
Puh-leeze. Ed Norton ain’t all that and a bag of chips. The 3 movies I’ve seen him in I’ve wanted to smack the crap out of him. He’s got some serious physical ticks that show through no matter what kind of role he’s playing. I saw him in “The Score” with Bobby D and De Niro schooled Norton’s ass! It was like watching Paul Newman wipe up the pool room floor with the Tiniest of Toms in “The Color of Money”. Ed needs to fix his little head, neck and mouth twitches, not to mention an occasional stuttering problem. I came real close to jumping through the screen watching “Fight Club” and beat the shite of him myself!
For who is important if the tabloides say? For the ignorant idiots
This is so exciting! I’m actually watching the Spirit Awards annoucement LIVE and blogging at the same time. A first for me.
A Mighty Heart is in for at least one so far.
Yay A Might Heart got nominated for screenplay
