Helio Castroneves Wins ‘Dancing With the Stars’
The 2007 Dancing with the Stars winner is Helio Castroneves and his partner Julianne Hough. This marks the second year that Hough has brought her partner to the top. Her winning partner from 2006 was Olympic Speedskater Apolo Ohno. Congrats!
This must be such a huge disappointment for The Spice Girls. Can’t win ‘em all, I guess!
Mel B. and Maksim Chmerkovskiy came in second. Marie Osmond and her partner Jonathan Roberts were eliminated within the first 15 minutes of the show.
Helio, 32, is one of the top North American race car drivers. He won the Indianapolis 500 in 2001 and 2002 and took second place in 2003.

Mel may be have more sophisticated moves, but Helio is a better performer. He made the routines look effortless whereas she looked like she had to work for every move. Maybe he went in knowing he was an underdog and more relaxed.

Helio was the best!!! And he deserved to win!!!! He was not only the best dancer, he was also charismatic, always smiling!!!! I’m sooooo glad Mel B didn’t win!!!! O HELIO E TUDO!!!!

What a load of ****. Mel shouldve walked away with that trophy! Helio is alright. granted i dont watch other people’s segments because i watch this show on youtube, but from comments by other people; it’s his partner that carries him through this competition. sure, he’s improved. BUT! this show is about who is THE BEST DANCER — and that clearly is Mel B. It’s evident from the all the judges lackluster and not overly excited clapping when they announced the winner that they felt the same way. They were probably expecting Mel to win. Too bad something fishy is going on in this show and the person who is CLEARLY THE BEST gets shafted. I guess that’s life.
DONT WORRY MEL&MAKS! YOU’RE STILL THE REAL WINNERS~! NO TROPHY IS NEEDED TO TELL US THAT.
Helio Castroneves is Brazilian! BRAZILIAN!!! He has the amazing latin blood and the rhythm only brazilians have! With these two itens, it was quite obvious he was going to win.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww I am so glad that he won. But Mel was Crying when she was talking with i think like samantha. I feel so bad for Mel and Max but I am very very very very very proud of Helio and Julianne.I always knew they were going to win.
Helio is disgusting and disrespectful to his fiancee for kissing julianne and touching all over her. he gives himself a bad image from that as well as julianne for letting him ! THEY SUCKED and mel should have won!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so unfair
