Vanessa Hudgens Wants a Driver’s License for Christmas

The stars of the High School Musical franchise shared what’s on their wishlist this holiday season with USA Today. Here’s what they had to say:

VANESSA HUDGENS
On her wish list: “My driver’s license. I plan on taking my test really soon.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “Putting up the Christmas tree together as a family. I love doing themes. This year is going to be gold and crystal.”
Her hope for Gabriella in HSM3: “We’re all going to be seniors, so I hope she gets into a good college.”

ZAC EFRON
On his wish list: “I’m constantly breaking things, and I go through skateboards pretty fast. So a new Sector 9 Longboard would be nice.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “I always help pick out a natural, chopped-down-in-the-woods tree, so our whole house starts to smell like Christmas.”
His hope for Troy in HSM3: “To win another basketball game — maybe even nationals.”

ASHLEY TISDALE
On her wish list: “Christian Louboutin heels.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “My great-grandma has passed the tradition of Christmas cookies on to my grandma and my mom. The recipe is top secret.”
Her hope for Sharpay in HSM3: “To win prom queen. She didn’t get the musical in the first one. She didn’t get the guy in the sequel. She needs to be prom queen!”

LUCAS GRABEEL
On his wish list: “A package of guitar picks. I’m always losing them.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “I’m always in a different country for Christmas, so I’m always adapting to traditions abroad.”
His hope for Ryan in HSM3: “That he takes a break from dance steps. Maybe join the basketball team and shoot the winning goal. That would be fabulous.”

It’s true what you say and you do know what you’re talking about. My dad by the way, when he that affair, was very hurful and caused alot of pain not only to his immedate family, but to his brothers, sisters and their family. Not to mention his own mother. It was a tough time and is still tough because now he’s living in PI with her and they have a family of their own. So, like I said, it’s just now “white men” they target… And me, being a filipino woman who strives to have my own identity in the US, is very concerned over that situation in PI and if I’m seen with a “white man”, I certainly wouldn’t want to be type-casted as a woman who doesn’t marry for love, but out of desparation. Not all of us are like that. But, like I said, I do understand because I lived there and have seen and lived the poverty, but fortunately had the opportunity to move to the US.

Ok this is to all you being racist…
first off all Vanessa is not just Filipina, she’s also other races, but even though she is like a blend of all these races, (Filipina, Latina, Chinese, Irish, Caucasian, and i have no idea what else) she was actually born here, in the U.S, so she’s American, just like Zac! that was about Zac and Vanessa, i have no idea if other Filipino women come here and marry white men just because the’re rich, (’cause i’m not Filipina) just wanted to make everything clear, and please don’t fight for thoughtlessness things like these!

I just watched the video of Vanessa and her sister and Mom. Her Mom was clearly upset but somehow managed to contain herself and plead with the paps to stop taking videos and pictures. They chose to ignore her and Vanessa stepped up and made her mother and sister get out of the sight of the cameras. Just goes to show what a great person
Vanessa truely is. Looking out for her family first. I sure wish the paps would give this family a break. Too bad they all can’t leave LA for a while and go somewhere to get out of the way of the photogs. I think Zac needed a break too, and that is why he left and drove up to see his family. He seems happier now that he did that. I hope Vanessa can do the same. She really hasn’t had much of a break from them at all.

I don’t think I have ever gotten around to saying what a totally beautiful picture this is of Vanessa. Thanks jj for posting it. The girl has beauty, poise, and class. Too bad other people don’t. But I guess there will always be those people who are just made to work in the sewers and cesspools of this life. I’m blessed not to be one of them. deCosmos, sorry you don’t seem to be so blessed.
