OlderVanessa Hudgens Wants a Driver’s License for Christmas
The stars of the High School Musical franchise shared what’s on their wishlist this holiday season with USA Today. Here’s what they had to say:
VANESSA HUDGENS
On her wish list: “My driver’s license. I plan on taking my test really soon.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “Putting up the Christmas tree together as a family. I love doing themes. This year is going to be gold and crystal.”
Her hope for Gabriella in HSM3: “We’re all going to be seniors, so I hope she gets into a good college.”
ZAC EFRON
On his wish list: “I’m constantly breaking things, and I go through skateboards pretty fast. So a new Sector 9 Longboard would be nice.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “I always help pick out a natural, chopped-down-in-the-woods tree, so our whole house starts to smell like Christmas.”
His hope for Troy in HSM3: “To win another basketball game — maybe even nationals.”
ASHLEY TISDALE
On her wish list: “Christian Louboutin heels.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “My great-grandma has passed the tradition of Christmas cookies on to my grandma and my mom. The recipe is top secret.”
Her hope for Sharpay in HSM3: “To win prom queen. She didn’t get the musical in the first one. She didn’t get the guy in the sequel. She needs to be prom queen!”
LUCAS GRABEEL
On his wish list: “A package of guitar picks. I’m always losing them.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “I’m always in a different country for Christmas, so I’m always adapting to traditions abroad.”
His hope for Ryan in HSM3: “That he takes a break from dance steps. Maybe join the basketball team and shoot the winning goal. That would be fabulous.”

Filipino women, I have a question…why is it that a lot of you try to go for white men? I know tons of girls who are half filipino/half white. What’s up with that?
Let’s get back to the subject of the thread. It was fun to read what everyone was wishing for! I do wish Vanessa good luck in getting her license. You really do have to wait until you’re ready- my oldest daughter was 19 too. There were a few teen driver fatalities around the time she was learning, and got really uptight about it. But she did fine once she was ready; Vanessa will too!!
I also love how they all have normal family traditions!! Trees, cookies, etc.– it’s all good!!
As far as what they want to see happen in HSM 3, that’s interesting too! I guess I can see Sharpay as queen, since that’s what she expects, and Gabriella as valedictorian, but maybe that’s too predictable???? I’d love it if they did something unexpected!!!

How can someone sink so low to wish that someone else died, wow, the hatred in this world will never sees to amaze me, not to mention sicken me. It’s so disturbing to think about it, imagine what a wonderful world we would live in if everyone took a deep breath and let go of all the hatred they have stored inside, there would be o more war, no more jealousy, no more rapes, murders, bullying…*sigh* but I guess that it will never happen, I mean, considering how many people that can’t stop themselves from putting despicable and hurtful comments about people they don’t even know and show this kind of hatred towards others using a fake name on the web. *shakes head* it’s really sad but unfortunately it’s reality.
I really wish and hope that people would look themselves in the mirror and be happy in life, but then again, who needs to be happy when you can feel jealous and hate.

Steph, that would be perfect! They need to have Sharpay and Ryan as friends because otherwise it would be rehashing the plot from the first two. I’m thinking that they will be and these new characters that Kenny has mentioned will be the antagonists.
AS for the reunion idea, that would be fun to see but they would have to make it believable. In the last Harry Potter book, the epilogue set in the future ruined it for me because it didn’t flow on well from the rest of the novel.
I have faith in Kenny and the crew though, whatever the story is I’m sure I will love it :)

Lots of filipino women marry white men because they think that white men have money and can take care of them. They want the “American Dream” so to say. Often the white men are MUCH older than them…. or the men go to the Philippines to get wives. This is generally and not in every case though…
Vanessa is at the height of her fame right now, which has come about due to her scandal. Sad.

As for 18 and older watching HSM, well…I only watched HSM1, (and will be buying HSM2 when it comes out) and I’m over 20, so yeah..we do watch it.
