The stars of the High School Musical franchise shared what’s on their wishlist this holiday season with USA Today. Here’s what they had to say:
VANESSA HUDGENS
On her wish list: “My driver’s license. I plan on taking my test really soon.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “Putting up the Christmas tree together as a family. I love doing themes. This year is going to be gold and crystal.”
Her hope for Gabriella in HSM3: “We’re all going to be seniors, so I hope she gets into a good college.”
ZAC EFRON
On his wish list: “I’m constantly breaking things, and I go through skateboards pretty fast. So a new Sector 9 Longboard would be nice.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “I always help pick out a natural, chopped-down-in-the-woods tree, so our whole house starts to smell like Christmas.”
His hope for Troy in HSM3: “To win another basketball game — maybe even nationals.”
ASHLEY TISDALE
On her wish list: “Christian Louboutin heels.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “My great-grandma has passed the tradition of Christmas cookies on to my grandma and my mom. The recipe is top secret.”
Her hope for Sharpay in HSM3: “To win prom queen. She didn’t get the musical in the first one. She didn’t get the guy in the sequel. She needs to be prom queen!”
LUCAS GRABEEL
On his wish list: “A package of guitar picks. I’m always losing them.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “I’m always in a different country for Christmas, so I’m always adapting to traditions abroad.”
His hope for Ryan in HSM3: “That he takes a break from dance steps. Maybe join the basketball team and shoot the winning goal. That would be fabulous.”

#118 The very fact that you can’t make your “point” without using profanity IMO invalidates it. Plus I really don’t appreciate being lectured. Nothing you are saying is fact but only opinion.
Everything I’ve heard about her indicates to me that she’s pretty much living her life pre-scandal is pretty much the way she is living it now. That family has always been important to her, if there aren’t as many pictures pre-scandal back that up well the paps weren’t as big a part of her life as they are now unfortunately.
So I would say that WE (her supporters) can see perfectly well what she’s doing. We just don’t agree with your OPINION of it.

Hello ZAs! Ellie - your limericks rock as always (and cool that JJ thinks so too, but then we knew he had good taste!) and the new wallpaper too. And, I have been sitting at work irked that I can’t watch your videos again here. :lol: But the thought of doing so later makes me smile. “Real” other Troy and Troy…I tell you, those Troys are good eggs…glad you are both here with lots of positive thoughts. Betty #42 - thanks for that link! OK is generally pretty questionable but that was a pretty decent article. I agree…love him with his hair shorter and darker (but not greased up like Link’s)…but then, no real complaints with any of his looks. :lol: This article from USA Today is really cute…fun hearing their wishes for Christmas and HSM3…good stuff.

MILKY-
Lots of filipino women marry white men because they think that white men have money and can take care of them. They want the “American Dream” so to say. Often the white men are MUCH older than them…. or the men go to the Philippines to get wives. This is generally and not in every case though…
Vanessa is at the height of her fame right now, which has come about due to her scandal. Sad.

In a way, this is kind of true in the Philippines. But filipino women in the states don’t think that way. Honestly…only until recently of this year, did I find caucasian men attractive. Maybe it’s because of my dislike of how filipino men are (while watching my father) that has turn me off filipino men in general.
Anyways…I really didn’t get MILKY’s question. It seemed kind of racist. I could ask the same question to caucasian men, why do some like african women? or asian women? or mexican women? So…really, I don’t get why MILKY would ask such a question.

Whether a woman is American, Mexican, Chinese or Filipino.. this is United States, the land of the free. Anyone can marry interracially. People are have different tastes and preferences. Yes, there are instances where #122 hi has so intellectually stated, LOL (was being sarcastic there :) ) But that happens everywhere, Russian brides, etc.
So milky, the answer to your question is (and you may not like it), most people will choose whoever they marry because it’s written in the stars :) No matter what color, age, shape, size, gender… most people marry and that includes Filipino women, because they merely fall in love :)

You’re right milky, there aren’t a lot of ways you can ask that question. And no, not all of us are filipino’s. But Vanessa and her mom is, so it’s kind of awkward that you would ask that question on her post… on cyberspace for that matter.
You might get even more of an exciting reply from a filipino woman if you ask this question face to face though :) Maybe you’ll get the answer you’re looking for. Take Care :)
