The stars of the High School Musical franchise shared what’s on their wishlist this holiday season with USA Today. Here’s what they had to say:
VANESSA HUDGENS
On her wish list: “My driver’s license. I plan on taking my test really soon.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “Putting up the Christmas tree together as a family. I love doing themes. This year is going to be gold and crystal.”
Her hope for Gabriella in HSM3: “We’re all going to be seniors, so I hope she gets into a good college.”
ZAC EFRON
On his wish list: “I’m constantly breaking things, and I go through skateboards pretty fast. So a new Sector 9 Longboard would be nice.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “I always help pick out a natural, chopped-down-in-the-woods tree, so our whole house starts to smell like Christmas.”
His hope for Troy in HSM3: “To win another basketball game — maybe even nationals.”
ASHLEY TISDALE
On her wish list: “Christian Louboutin heels.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “My great-grandma has passed the tradition of Christmas cookies on to my grandma and my mom. The recipe is top secret.”
Her hope for Sharpay in HSM3: “To win prom queen. She didn’t get the musical in the first one. She didn’t get the guy in the sequel. She needs to be prom queen!”
LUCAS GRABEEL
On his wish list: “A package of guitar picks. I’m always losing them.”
A favorite holiday tradition: “I’m always in a different country for Christmas, so I’m always adapting to traditions abroad.”
His hope for Ryan in HSM3: “That he takes a break from dance steps. Maybe join the basketball team and shoot the winning goal. That would be fabulous.”

That’s ok hi, I wasn’t looking for your appreciation :) In the country of Philippines it may be true, you’re right, but there are many filipino’s in that country that marry for love I know. Otherwise, the whole country would be filled with interracial couples. I’m not saying that as ignorant, I know that the country is very 3rd world, but there are people there that marry for love. And if it be a caucasian person that’s wealthy, then great!
But in most countries, like the US for instance, the Fil-Am people here who marry or prefer caucasian people, most marry because of love. There are millions of Asian Americans (filipino’s being one of them) that can fully take care of themselves, therefore do not need to marry someone wealthier to help themselves out.
But, I do agree that it happens alot in the Philippines, don’t get me wrong.
Has anyone heard any information on Vanessa’s upcoming movie? All she said was that it would be before HSM3. Wonder if it will be a singing and dancing role

You know what strikes me as sadly ironic about all the ugliness and vitriol on this thread? Well its more sad then ironic.
Its the fact that this thread exists because Vanessa, Zac and the rest of the HSM gang answered a couple of questions about Christmas. You know this actually could have been a fun thread with fond memories of roasted chestnuts, stockings hung by the fire and eggnogg. But instead we end up having to respond to absolute garbage posted by sad, angry, little people with dead shriveled up souls that can’t stand to let others enjoy something simply because they don’t like it. Absolutely pathetic. I would say you should be ashamed but that require some actual decentency on the part of these people and and I really think some of them don’t have any.
Narf, ellie and gregg, I’ve told JJ that this guy sounds off the handle, and text a cop friend of mine with his post and he says you guys can press charges. If this guy is threatening you, you should report him.

I do not know how it is in other countries, all that I know is the general intention of women in my country. Obviously some will mary for love, but a lot do marry for a better life. It is obviously different for American born Filipino’s and ones that are born here. Many of us marry to gain entrance into other countries because it is extremely hard. There is the belief that caucasian=wealth, and that is why many of our women seek out white men. You are very condescending and disrespectful. Why?
