Some of the pics looked good and I was tld by someone who was there they were ok..although at the BIFAS they looked a little “off”…they looked happier earlier on the red carpet this year, The Baftas, Oscars, Indie Awards etc…(she was wearing that ring then)…who knows???I found it interesting in his body language, he held her hand non stop but behind his back, but he wasnt a close as he has been..holding around the waist. In all three events this week, the Kids Baftas, the GC and the Bifas, he did look tired, prob due to him stunt training at Pinewood.

daniel is soooo….. gorgeous, he looks like a real man. but the real hottie is eva green, my god, she puts them all to shame. i love that they did two films together back to back. and vesper, her character in the bond films, is the only love of bond’s life besides tracy, who dies right after they marry. i wish eva could be in more bond films because their chemistry was incredible, it’s going to be hard to find someone else who can “act” as well as she can. did you ever see their scene on the train when they first meet? just the best, great writing, great acting, or after they check into their hotel, great, or the shower scene when she’s crying and he comforts her. all of their scenes together are wonderful and such a departure from the usual bond cheesiness that has been so prevalent over the last years.

I am 48 and I have less lines on my face than his gf. And, Daniel may look old to some of you but Roger Moore looked very old when he stopped playing James Bond.

Daniel looks very unhappy in those photos. Perhaps he was having a bad night - however MS M has a good point about him holding her hand behind his back in all the photos and not any closer. Are they really engaged - How come there was never an official announcement? He talks about Satsuki only in general terms and never, to my knowledge, talks publically about his daughter. I can’t recall ever seeing a picture of his daughter with him.
So I somehow dont think that Daniel is going to broadcast his marriage plans. I fully expect to read in read an article telling the world that Daniel and Satsuki were married in a private cermony with only family members in attendance.

I seriously doubt that. Considering that he has a legion of fans from all walks of life, why should he care what a bunch of strangers have to say about his relationship? No matter how they look, the fact remains - they don’t know him personally, nor do they have a vested interest in his or his girlfriend’s life.

He wouldn’t give a crap what they had to say. Certainly none of us would give a toss if a bunch of no names .decided they wanted to give commentary on any of our relationships. And if you are the sort of person who concerns him or herself with what total strangers think of you, and you live only to garner their approval, then you must be a very insecure, needy person.

The point is that you have no point. The man has hot, willing, and interesting female fans throwing themselves at him on a daily basis, so this proves what?? Nothing. Oh my…step away for awhile and see what happens? All I have to say is that he was with Heike M for 7 years odd, he likes long term things…he never married Heike nor had any children…he loved her tremendously..but he was younger, so who knows, as he approaches 40 what he will feel like doing with Satsuki, although things change all the time esp in this business. Satsuki has given up rather a lot to travel around and support him (they didnt want to do the long distance thing)…one thing is for sure..I dont think either of them are going anywhere anytime soon. They are devoted to each other and I can hazard a wild guess they they have NOT fooled around on each other.

I have seen these two in public many times and they are very much a happy couple.

Dan is always at her side and vice versa because thats where they want to be. They support each other and are very committed to their relationship.

Dan does not need to fool around, he has everything he needs and wants in his Satsuki, no doubt he will marry her.

Satsuki forgave Daniel for cheating on her with the much more attractive Sienna Miller because, like many Asian women, she is desperate for a White husband and will do ANYTHING to get and keep one. Satsuki is half Japanese and wants to breed out her Asian side with Daniel’s blonde, blue-eyed genes. I have met many Asian women who have this White supremacist attitude and refuse to date Asian men. I wouldn’t be surprised if Satsuki pushed for the engagement. I have no respect for their relationship or for Satsuki.

In my own experience dating asian women. they seem to expect everything to be paid and supplied for them. The attitude is that they are owed. Not a good experience.

Rufus– I respectfully disagree. Historically, the practice was that men did pay for everything on a date. It has nothing to do with “being owned.” In fact, some women would say that that is just part of the whole courtship. Granted, times are a changing. And also, there are some women of EVERY race that will expect a man to pay for everything, like Suzi said. Some guys like it that way, and some guys prefer to go dutch. If it bothers a man so much that his date won’t pay for anything– then the remedy is to politely ask if she wouldn’t mind going dutch. It is not an excuse to generalize all Asian women on this very public board.
