OlderDaniel Craig NOT Signed For Four More Bond Films
Yesterday, Daniel Craig (in Tom Ford) and his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell attended world premiere of The Golden Compass at the Odeon Leicester Square.
At the premiere, Craig denied signing on to do four more James Bond films contrary to statements made by MGM honcho Harry Sloan to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I never said that,” Craig said. “Well, that’s what’s been said, it’s not that it’s not true, because I haven’t signed up. What I’ve done is I’ve signed up on the next movie [Bond 22], after that we’ll see. That’s the way I’m doing it, and certainly it’s not four more — that’s the truth. It’s certainly not four more.”

So they are engaged and will be married soon?
Do you all think this will really happen? I have heard so many stories about these two — they are happy, no they are not happy, they are engaged, not they are not engaged - Does anyone know the truth?
A question for the women on this site.
If Daniel does not marry Satsuki (who I also find very unattractive) - do any of you think you really have a chance?
From a man’s perspective, he will marry her, she has supported him throught a major change in his life and when a woman supports a man like that, regardless of the way she may look, he finds her attractive. Holding her hand behind his back means nothing negative - that is his security and it’s probably just easier when dealing with the press to stand that way. She knows all his stuff and he knows hers- that is not easy to let go of ladies. -In this business privacy is a big deal so if they don’t comment on the status of their relationship is just simple privacy nothing more nothing less. A man would not give a woman a ring and allow her to wear it on her wedding ring finger if he didn’t want to marry her. So ladies don’t read too much into it, it’s very simple for me. Man gives girl ring, man wants to marry girl,,,,,very simple.
Daniel has done a good job at keeping his life private
He talks about Satsuki only in general terms and never, to my knowledge, talks publically about his daughter. I can’t recall ever seeing a picture of his daughter with him.
So I somehow dont think that Daniel is going to broadcast his marriage plans. I fully expect to read in read an article telling the world that Daniel and Satsuki were married in a private cermony with only family members in attendance.
So, he is going to marry her because she knows private information. Whatever. She could be in this for her benefit, i.e. attention and money. Anyway, I still don’t really understand why a man would choose an unattractive woman.
ok “mr real” you say man gives girl ring, man wants to marry girl. It’s not always that simple. a lot can happen between the time he proposed and now. my aunt is a wedding planner in los angeles and she can give you lots of stories about couples who became engaged and then a year or two later broke it off. so until i read the news that daniel and satsuki are married you’ll forgive me for my “wait and see” attitude.

Suzi - I understand things can change from the time of proposal - but she has had the ring for a year and people are now noticing - why do you think that is happening — Why now?
Mr Real, some people just don’t want to face reality. I guess for them, it would be like adding salt to an already painfully open wound. I’d have to agree with you, he obviously loves her and she’s been wearing his ring for a while now.
She’s constantly by his side and they travel practically everywhere together; doesn’t sound like a couple who are having problems to me. And for those who say they are just putting on a show…a show for who??
Do you honestly think Daniel gives a rats butt about what the public thinks of his relationship? He strikes me as the type of individual who does what he wants, when he wants to whomever he wants. He could careless about a bunch of rabid female fans and their “assumptions” about his personal life. Get real people!

Dan looks dashing in his suit. He looks tired thou. Sets looks nice too. I wouldn’t be surprize if Dan helped her picked it to wear for the night. Too much of the silver/white eyeshadow thou. I think she looks alot better if shes wearing neutral like makeup. She is attractive (in person) and very lucky! I wish them the best!

I seriously doubt that. Considering that he has a legion of fans from all walks of life, why should he care what a bunch of strangers have to say about his relationship? No matter how they look, the fact remains - they don’t know him personally, nor do they have a vested interest in his or his girlfriend’s life.
He wouldn’t give a crap what they had to say. Certainly none of us would give a toss if a bunch of no names .decided they wanted to give commentary on any of our relationships. And if you are the sort of person who concerns him or herself with what total strangers think of you, and you live only to garner their approval, then you must be a very insecure, needy person.

The point is that you have no point. The man has hot, willing, and interesting female fans throwing themselves at him on a daily basis, so this proves what?? Nothing. So far he is clinging to old “butterface” as you call her. So “butterface” 1 - hot, willing, interesting , and rabid female fans ZILTCH!

at any rate, his parading her old a_ss @ premieres and any indulging he might engage in on the side are not mutually exclusive concepts. it can be done rather easily; just ask your boyfriend.
Whether the man has his fingers in someone else’s pie on the side or not doesn’t mean much; men cheat - big deal(just ask your hubby, boyfriend, or WHATEVER about that). Hell, if we are going to talk about cheating here, let’s include both sexes, because I’m sure that women have done their fair share, and for all we know, old Satsuki there may have tipped around behind his back.
The point is, he’s still with HER(almost 3 years and counting) and not with any of those desperate, bleeding heart female fans of his. People take out their anger on this woman as if she has committed some personal affront to them. Face it ladies, hate all you want, he doesn’t want you.
Hopefully he will be ‘parading her old a_ss @ premieres’ for a long time to come, perhaps eventually with a couple of kids in tow.

Oh my…step away for awhile and see what happens? All I have to say is that he was with Heike M for 7 years odd, he likes long term things…he never married Heike nor had any children…he loved her tremendously..but he was younger, so who knows, as he approaches 40 what he will feel like doing with Satsuki, although things change all the time esp in this business. Satsuki has given up rather a lot to travel around and support him (they didnt want to do the long distance thing)…one thing is for sure..I dont think either of them are going anywhere anytime soon. They are devoted to each other and I can hazard a wild guess they they have NOT fooled around on each other.
I think you are wrong “Ms M”. As I understand; Sienna Miller and Daniel had an affair. Satsuki forgave the affair and took him back. So you cannot say taht they have not fooled around on each other.
In France there were rumors about Dan and Eva Green. I don’t know whether true or not. Maybe Sats hangs around for his money.
Suzi: Yes I know about the Sienna affair and and abt Satsuki taking him back, but they were NEVER confirmed therefore I chose to err on the side of it not happening. I just didnt want to mention something that I have no proof of. It’s all heresay. No disrespect to you though. There will ALWAYS be rumours about Dan.
Just for laughs, here is a pic of them at the Bond prem in 06..standing exactly the same (pre engagement ring)..so reading into body language, as I do, means very little sometimes. It’s looks like a fav pose of his and that’s it…

They seem to be a happy couple. All the best to them.
I have seen these two in public many times and they are very much a happy couple.
Dan is always at her side and vice versa because thats where they want to be. They support each other and are very committed to their relationship.
Dan does not need to fool around, he has everything he needs and wants in his Satsuki, no doubt he will marry her.
