“Hello from Australia,
I’m really happy to have finally made it over - the people have been amazing and I’ve been made to feel really welcome. I’ve always wanted to visit Australia as well as New Zealand, which I’m off to on Thursday, so it’s a great feeling to be here.
I’m writing this to you the day after our game against Sydney FC. It was disappointing to lose the match even though it was a friendly, as I always want to win, but I was pleased to play the full game and of course, score a goal. I practice free kicks enough, so it’s always a great feeling when they go in.
The atmosphere in the Telstra Stadium was amazing and it was a really entertaining match for the 80,000 fans. We really enjoyed playing, despite the result, and now look forward to the game against Wellington Phoenix on Saturday.
I was a bit worried when I went over on my ankle. I thought it might be the same injury I’d had for Real Madrid on the last day of the season, but I managed to play on and finish the game ok, so thankfully it wasn’t that bad.
This Thursday is also the 2nd anniversary of The David Beckham Academy in the UK. I went along to the Academy last week, and you’ll be able to see my video footage of the day on davidbeckham.com later this week. But as I’m in Australia at the moment I can’t be there on Thursday, so I would just like to say thanks to all the coaches and staff for their hard work over the past two years and also a big thank you to all the children that have visited and enjoyed the Academy.

David is hot BUT I seen a guy who looks 10 times better that David. I know that this has nothing to do with this post BUT GUYS I seen the boy I always dreamed about, the prince charming who looks so great that you can get to ****** just from looking at his photos. I was at this game at it was absolutely amazing. David was contracted to play 55 minutes, but he played the full game which everyone REALLY appreciated… it was great for Sydney FC to win (my home team) but the crowd was equally as happy to see David Beckham score. He sure is an amazing player.
