Katie Holmes (in Monique Lhuillier) looks like she adopted daughter Suri’s hairstyle as she stands by her main man Tom Cruise at the 2007 Bambi Awards on Thursday in Duesseldorf, Germany.
Tom, 45, received a Bambi Award in the category of “Courage” for his willingness to take risks in his film work, including the upcoming movie Valkyrie, which details the failed Operation Valkyrie plot to kill Adolf Hitler.
“Tom Cruise is making an international public familiar with a story that has never before been the theme of a major Hollywood production: the German resistance against the Third Reich,” said a rep from the Bambi Awards.

i kind of like it! oh! although she looks like an anna wintour wannabe. but hey, this took guts. superficial guts.
I sure hope they really love each other and are happy because they really creep me out. He makes me feel sick to my stomach, he’s so creepy and slimey. As for Katie Holmes, she seems to be a zombie now. I thought she was adorable, she had a quality that made you want to smile when she smiled. But now, she’s creepy too. So I really hope that they’re happy with each other; that would make it, at least, worthwile.

“Courage in films…” I would say “audacity” is more the word.

That picture was taken at the Bambi awards, here, in Germany. Tommy must be desperate if he really came here to pick up THAT award. Because that “award” is a JOKE! You have no idea how many serious artists refused or returned this “award”. On the other hand who wouldn’t care for a nice evening with B and C list German celebrities?
And who cares how many “Bambis” or “Bimbos” and “Tweetys” and “Mickey Mouses” Tommy Mouse gets, as long as it isn’t the golden statue… And I bet this is one of the very few things Tommy Boy and I will agree on.
The most prestigious German film award is the Berlin film festival award, the “Bear”. It’s the only German film award that is worth mentioning and having and is connected with international prestige. And guess, who has one…Two small hints: The name starts with an “N” and ends with “icole”
Can we say flippin copy cat!!? Lets TRY to be original and NOT try to be someone else. Katie Holmes needs to just go somewhere seriously and like NEVER come back. Posh-ripoff.
Katie had been looking sooo fantastic lately, but this is plain scary. It doesn’t suit her features at all, it makes her look asian - nothing wrong with that if you are actually asian - and she somehow manages to make it look like a really old style, rather than something new and exciting. I may not like Posh’s hair but she pulls it off, Katie does not.

I agree with some of the comments…the Cruises go on my nerves…really annoying. And look how teenyweeny he is, it just looks so stupid the way he’s presenting her, I think everybody should just get that he’s trying to be more successful!

Very sceptical about anything Tom Cruise related but Katie Holmes looks amazing! I love Suri and I love the way Katie is standing head and shoulders above the crowd here. Would be very interested to see the German resistance film but my hard earned bucks don’t go to Scientology so I have banned myself from the cinema - sorry Ken and all the other great British actors in that flick.
