But, thankfully a former lawyer and friend who had known Sean since he was 14yrs old spoke up. He defended him. He didn’t gloss over anything he had done. Brad Pitt has vowed not to film any more nude scenes â?? because he doesn’t want his kids to see them.

“I don’t want to be embarrassed when my kids get old enough to see my films,” Pitt told the BBC in an interview that aired Tuesday. “I can’t see any more nude scenes [in my career.]”

Pitt previously burned up the screen in the buff for Thelma and Louise and Troy â?? as well as in some steamy scenes with Angelina Jolie in Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

As for his future in films, the 43-year-old who is promoting his film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, told the BBC, “I figure I’ve got very few films left. Who knows how many I’ll get to do now, so I want to do something I’m interested in. Otherwise, I don’t want to bother. I think it’s a younger person’s game.”

Pitt, who recently dropped out of the film State of Play, also said he wasn’t interested in making any more Ocean’s movies. “There’s no more,” he said of the series of caper flicks he’s made with pals George Clooney and Matt Damon. “I think we need to put away childish things.”

He did offer some hope for working with Clooney and Damon again, though: “We’ll find something else. I just don’t think there’s anywhere to go with that particular story,” he said.

Pax is such a cute little boy! He’s come so far. He looked a little sheepish at first in public and didn’t know what to make of the cameras. But in the latest pics of him visiting mommy on set, he exhudes confidence, just walking around without a care.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I think now both Mad and Pax have Brad’s gait and confidence when they walk. Way to go Daddy!

There must be a strong connection between Brad and Pax, both being Saggitarians, they would have similar ways and personalities. Thanks Jared for the new thread and the wonderful photos. That was so sweet of you!!!! The pictures remind me of how fast Pax has adapted to the family - from the scared, crying little boy in the Vietnamese orphanage to the happy go lucky kid tackling the jungle gym in Central Park. It just shows what great parents Brad and Angie are.

I think that it is tragic that Angelina and Brad drag their adopted children from city to city like extra luggage. I am surprised they don’t check them in with the other luggage at the airport. It will be highly detrimental to the children’s development to not have any opportunity for lasting friendships with other children or a full year of school at one location. It is much worse than for army kids because even army kids usually stay at one location for at least a few years at a time.

Looking at the pictures I see a couple where the children have their arms folded behind their backs. They look so cute, especially Z with her little arms. I wonder if Brad, or Angie instructed them to do that? To stand and wait with their arms folded behind them to keep them from getting in trouble. But they all seem so well behaved. Except when Pax jumped into the fountain. I assume that is what he did based on comments back when these pictures were first shown. Does anyone have a picture of him in the fountain? Please post if yes. Peace.

Lots of working parents..not just celebs, have nannies if they can afford them. Nothing wrong with that. But from everything I have read(not in tabloids) the Jolie-Pitt’s do not have a phalax of nannies, and only use their help when necessary. They seem to be extremely hands on parents. Not sure why you feel the need to be snarky about them.

How often have you seen them out with a nanny in tow? Ive seen lots of celebs..Heidi Klum, Jen garner, Patrick Duffy’s wife..etc out with their kids AND a helper. Big deal..if I could afford a nanny to help at times, i would.

People in other countries have seen it, but here in the USA, many of us who waited so long for this movie to come out..were just disregarded by Warners. I remember watching George Clooney on Diane Sawyer giving the interview about when he went to Africa. In the interview he said that he got involved “a little late in the game” and that he was following Brad and Angie’s example. In fact Brad was one who while under the huge glare during the Mr & Mrs Smith promotion, went to Africa with cameras, It was one of the highest rated interviews and the one chairty got a record number of donations. Yes Angie gets attention,but that attention increased a thousand times more since she hooked up with Brad. My thing is this why do some get accolades and praise for doing things and then certain people never get credit. Look people shouldn’t have to rec accolades for chairty work, however a thankyou or good job is good once in awhile. Brad won the Venice Flim award in Itlay a wonder accolade and ten minutes later the negativity in the press started. George Clooney starred in a ****** movie is always menitoning Brad , yet he is in the top ten? I don’t get. Angie will get nominated and her performance was excellent, so Brad will show up and support. If she is not he should not grace the red carpet. They will put him on covers for sales, mention in interviews for ratings, people like george use his spotlight, people winning oscars and getting credit for his work, yet not even a thank you.

I’m sorry you didn’t get to see it on the big screen. I waited 5 weeks and I didn’t think I’d get the chance, but it finally came out in my area. I caught it the first week, and I’m glad I did because it was only around for two, and then they pulled it. Warners’ distribution and promotion of the movie completely s*cked! I am getting very upset now about this whole conspiracy theory. I was very glad Brad got VFF award when everybody thought about Casey Afflec. Brad is brilliant as Jesse James. I hope Brad’s work in NOLA will get honored later. Brad doesn’t like speaking out about what he is doing. He just do it. But obviously the outspoken one(like GC) gets more attention.

So let’s see what does a Jolie-Pitt get at 4 years old? Hmmm. Maybe a remote control car? Maybe a Big Boy car that he can drive sister Z in? As for AOJJ, I feel WB and American media is so weird.
Well, Cassy A is great in it. But Brad Pitt is beyond great. He is perfect as Jesse James.
Brad won Venis, then, WB never mention it in AOJJ’s promotion.

You know, many magazine writers didn’t see AOJJ, but they write for Casse’s Oscar campeign. At the same time, the reason they don’t mention Brad’s name is that they didn’t see this movie yet.

I just want to say that I believe Brad appreciates whatever is given to him, but does not do the work for the awards. I believe his initial reason for acting was to “scratch an itch” and prove that he really is a man who can take care of himself regardless of what others thought about his choice in leaving college. Now, I honestly believe that he is happy to receive whatever his peers or various agencies bestow upon him, but realistically he’s happiest just rolling on the floor. reading stories, explaining life’s little mysteries and being a sounding board for a woman who picked his heart out of the “shredder” patched it together, and laid a new baby girl inside of it.

Tabloids are a joke, my god In Touch announces Britney new pregnancy, the girl is not even with child, lmao. In spite of the tabloids Angies star continues to rise she will for sure be nominated for an Oscar and continue to be well respected for humantarian work. The majority of the show was about showing the befores and afters of studio guests who looked like they could afford radical haircuts, color, and hairweaves. As for the ‘celebrity dish’, it was framed as a question about which celebrity intimidated the stylists the most. Ken Paves said that all of them intimidated him because he knows that he’s a making people happy business. Kimberly Kimble (works with Beyonce) said the same thing, although creating new looks and styles is the main source of her anxiety. Harry Josh didn’t answer the question; instead, he told about how he got his start doing Giselle’s color/highlights in the bathroom of his studio apartment. Apparently, they just experimented and once Giselle began to get noticed, people started asking about her stylist; he added that he wasn’t licensed or trained at the time.

Then Oprah talked to Ted Gibson, Angelina’s hairdresser. Actually, she asked him if he was one of those people who knew from an early age that this was going to be his profession. Ted said that he wanted to play for the Dallas Cowboys. Everyone thought he was joking, but he was serious. He then told a story about how a friend of his was a hairdresser and how he had an expensive car, clothes and a nice apartment, which got him thinking. The friend pushed him to go to school; there were competitions in school and he really got into hairdressing that way. Regarding Angelina, he said “It changed my life. Working with her changed my life. Spiritually, as an individual, as well as a hairdresser.” Then, typical Oprah, she filled in the blanks instead of asking Ted what he meant by his statement.

I have to wonder if Oprah did this deliberately or that it’s unconscious.

It is just a magazine list. I really don’t see why this bothers so many. Brad has gotten some recognition for his work at other places. Sure, he has deserved more acting nods. An EW list is not that big of a deal IMO.

I agree with what you said and I also find it a bit odd that some have done much less than Brad or some others and yet they are getting attention. But since when HW has been completely fair and objective?? Very few times. They want to push some certain people to certain directions. So I’m not really surprised.

What I love about Brad is that he always tried to be as independent as he could. He hasn’t always followed the obligations of the studios. More recently with SOP. He has turned down many roles and blockbuster movies that would make him receive lots of money and took roles that got him substance and great recognition about his talent such as Seven or 12 monkeys. He always wanted to do things that he believed in without just thinking about BO success. He never caged himself in his “good-looking” persona.
And that takes some mayor character and courage to do it.

And as he said he made Plan B because he gets to work with people he admires and because he wants to help to the creation of the projects that he as a viewer would want to see.

All I’m saying is that I’m not going to base this whole discussion of weather Brad gets his due or not because he is not included in a list.

As you said his time will eventually come.

I don’t think it will. While some Brad fans are, justifiably, in a snit over perceived snubs towards Brad, there are some things that we have to remember; producers rarely get their due, unless they’re director/producers. And it’s an American tradition to pull a ‘Columbus’ — claiming to ‘discover’ something that was already there. It may happen next week, next month, or next year, but recognition of Brad’s contributions to film and/or philanthropy will happen. They called AHM a bomb. They called TAOJJ a bomb. And they blamed Brad instead of WB. On Comcast.net the other day the said Beowulf was sinking fast because it came in third. They didn’t say anything about The Bee Movie. I think it came either 4th or 5th. Yet someone posted an article which was saying how well it was doing overseas. They haters didn’t mention that. Anything to discredit them or make lite of what they do. But good thing is that neither of them really care. They know who they are and they are happy with that. I remember reading in People magazine that the head of the orphanage called Pax a shy boy. Well from the pictures we have seen he does not ssen that shy. He just needed to be released from the regiment of orphanage life.

The list that some of you are so concerned with is just someone’s idea just like others have other ideas. Why get upset about cra* like this?

Brad is happy with his life, Angelina is happy with her life, and they are happy together and doing exactly what they want to do. Brad has always been underrated because he has been looked at as “a pretty boy” (like Clooney always calls him) without much substance.

Angelina recognizes that false view that many possess about Brad, and said that people don’t really know him. She is a wise woman who clearly knows her man. Others don’t because still waters run deep.

Brad does not fit into the niche that HWood has always tried to place him in. He has not played the romantic handsome leading man role that HW assigned to him. That is very disconcerting to many in HW. Angelina has been cast as and played a vamp and a vixen a number of times so men, who are the power brokers, when they see her carrying out humanitarian related tasks, they then say she must be smart like a fox, and men like foxes.

Brad also has not played the game like George and others have. This year was the first time Brad even played the film festival circuit. Look at the reaction of many when Brad was so great at the Hollywood Awards, one even said that Clooney must have been working with him. Brad does not play the late nite tv talking head circuit either. Brad is an enigma to many and they are wary of him. Brad is quieter, a rebel in many ways, he does not call attention to himself like most actors, he does not go out of his way seeking praise, he has a quiet confidence within himself, and that to many is seen as a threat to the staus quo. As Brad says, he knows his truth.

Look at this whole SOP hoopla, George and Ryan Gosling and CZJones all dropped out of films recently and no screams were heard. Brad decided not to do a movie and it has made the news for weeks. Brad saying in the BBC interview that he won’t bother to do a film he doesn’t care for has probably sent shock waves through the power brokers. How dare an actor say something like that? Well, it’s Brad the unpredictable doing things his way, and now he has Angelina supporting him, someone who also goes her way, and they have now joined forces and have a joint way to travel together. Anybody who has the courage to drop out of college 2 weeks before graduation, and travel across from MO to LA without any contacts in LA is going to travel their own road.

Brad seems very comfortable as a family man, he certainly enjoys being a dad, and wants to spend time with his family. He likes producing, and that may be where he concentrates his efforts. He is going his own way as usual.

Some fans needs to take a deep breath and calm down. Brad has been recognized before, and he will be again. There is no reason to be upset. His time has been and will be. Maybe this time is Angelina’s, but AMH was a joint production of both Brad and Angelina, and they both take great pride in AMH.

All is well.

Happy Birthday to Pax…and many more. what a year he has had? This time last year he was an orphanage with no family. Look at him now, 3 siblings, a mom and dad and gifts galore. Now that’s is what it is all about folks. Forget the BS.

I got the impression of the big O curiosity of beautiful women a long time ago. She asks intrusive questions and she looks at them with intrigue and wonderment. Her best friend, Gayle is more genuine about her probing. I think she acts giddy when it comes to interviewing celebs.

#366: TRL, I’m guilty of passing judgement cause I don’t watch her anymore. Haven’t watched for years and her siding with the ex didn’t exactly endear her to me. I give you the props in your notion of her having nothing against Angie since you watch the show and I don’t.

But it must really burn her that B & A don’t kiss her azz to be on her good side. It seems they just don’t give a care whether the ex has a platform to air her grievances. They won’t even play the game which is a bummer.
