OlderAmanda Bynes Celebrates Christmas & Hannukah
Amanda Bynes totes around her Balenciaga Giant bag as she pampers herself at the Nail Boutique in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The 21-year-old former Hairspray hopper then stopped next door at Maxine’s but came out empty-handed.
Bynes spoke with USA Weekend recently and OK! at the opening of the new Burton store in West Hollywood yesterday. Here’s what she had to say:
On her future in winter sports: “I’ve actually only snowboarded once but I’ve skied seven times. I look forward to snowboarding in the future. It’s a cooler sport.”
On not making it out to the gym: “I try but not really. I try to walk instead of drive. Yoga if I can.”
On which directors she wants to work with: “I would love to work with Baz Luhrmann or Tim Burton. They’re so creative and artsy. Baz is exciting.”
On celebrating Christmas and Hannukah with her family: “We go to temple and church. (Since moving in with Bynes’ Jewish grandmother, they haven’t had a Christmas tree.) [In the past] when we got one… we called it a ‘Hanukkah bush,’ and I would decorate it.”

amanda actually has talent…and she’s like the ‘girl next door’. but at least she’s pretty and is decent. i prefer her over miley cyprus, vanessa hudgens and ashley tisdale.

I’ve always liked Amanda. I think she’s pretty. She’s always been a really talented comedic actress and I thought she was great in Hairspray.
She gained a lot of weight !!
