i actualy like darren’s version of the song than britney’s. he sang it better. and he really seemed to be enjoying himself singing that stripper song hehee

Darren is a great performer and has a great sense of humour. He doesn’t mean any disrespect to other artists. He often sings other songs - for example he did Kylie’s two hearts in Australia recently. He has a massive catalog of his own music but occassionally performs other artists songs and sometimes does it in a playful manner and means no malice. He is a true artist and can sign better than most of the top 10 artists of the moment. He is simply the best.

I first watched the youtube video of Darren singing the cover of Britney, I was cracking up like crazy. For me personally, I don’t have to be mad at him for poking fun at Britney and we all don’t have to be mad at him for that. He made fun of her okay, it’s because he cares and he loves Britney. Darren wishes nothing but the best for Britney and that she gets better. Please, don’t be mad at him. I’m sure he mean to poke fun of her and I really love Darren’s music and his silky voice. I don’t care if he’s gay (sweetheart as I like to call him), he’s my favorite artist and songwriter.

he was being funny singing it but i think if he gets serious about it, his version will be miles better than the original.

Aww! I was there and Darren said that he loves Britney, as do I, and this is just an artist having fun performing. There’s nothing wrong with that and if you don’t like it then why the hell are you wasting your time watching? its not like Britney Spears need you to defend her. Its okay to let go and make fun of yourself at times and to live a little.
