OlderReese, Angelina Lead List of Highest-Paid Actresses
Reese Witherspoon ranked number one on The Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of the highest-paid actresses. The 31-year-old actress commands $15 million to $20 million a movie.
Angelina Jolie came in second, and Cameron Diaz came in third with a $15 million-per-movie requirement.
While Angelina and Reese are now asking for $15 million-$20 million per movie, they frequently agree to “no-quote deals” — deals in which the studios actually pay them far less than their usual fee (usually when they take on supporting roles).
Here’s The Hollywood Reporter’s top ten list:
1. Reese Witherspoon — $15 million-$20 million
2. Angelina Jolie — $15 million-$20 million
3. Cameron Diaz — $15+ million
4. Nicole Kidman — $10 million-$15 million
5. Renee Zellweger — $10 million-$15 million
6. Sandra Bullock — $10 million-$15 million
7. Julia Roberts — $10 million-$15 million
8. Drew Barrymore — $10 million-$12 million
9. Jodie Foster — $10 million-$12 million
10. Halle Berry — $10 million

What happened to Jennifer Aniston’s name? Wasn’t she the one Forbes said topped the list on as the one worth all the money spent on the movie? Doesn’t she make at least $10 million per film, or was that only when she had Brad Pitt by her side?

Meryl needs a new agent. She used to be on such lists years ago when she was in hit after hit after criticial hit.
Now…..still in hits but the salary is not the same…….

I always read the posts here and realy amazes me how can some people be so mean with other people. Do you like Angelina Jolie? Great! We all now that she is a good person, a caring mother and a great actress. And her salarie is just a proov of it.
So why can’t other actress earn a good salarie too? If Reese makes such a great salarie is because her films can raise a good money at the box office. No studio director is an idiot to pay such a high value and not have some return of the investiment. So let the girl be , she is a great actress too(she even win an oscar), a caring mother too , a very classy and good person.

She was A-list when she was Mrs. Brad Pitt.
She is D-list as Jennifer Aniston.
She topped the list as worth all the money because she made a lot of very low-budget films.
She’s sitting on $110 million now and she’s miserable as hell. As her fans are fond of saying, Karma’s a bítch.
Reese and Angelina are actresses who do not spend money on themselves are stiny, but they also give it to charity causes, so that’s fine with me.

Which one of those actresses had the most recent box office hit? How long ago have any of them really had a huge “hit”?
ITA about it not being about box office. It’s about perceived talent and name recognition. It’s aldo about if you get credit as a producer which many of these women do get. In addition, the definition of a hit film may be different for actresses than actors.
Having won an Academy Award also helps it seems. The only non Oscar winners on there are Cameron Diaz, Sandra Bullock and Drew Barrymore.
Congratulations to these women and plan carefully because you will not always be able to maintain those salaries

Congrats to both Angie and Reese. It is hard for women to reach that kind of level in Hollywood. They should be celebrated for having achieved this level of success.
Of course they deserve the money. Do you know how much the studios are making off of them?
I don’t go and see movies of these two actresses . . not worth it.

I’m sorry but Jodie Foster and Sandra bullock should top this list, not Angelina Jolie and certainly not reese Witherspoon.
The top 10 actresses are worth that salaries because all these actresses have international market and appeal.
X does not have a global market. in fact, I think her appeal was limited to some fractions of dumb tabloid believer minivan majority. Sadly, her newly crowned tabloid Queen title didn’t help her pay check. hahahah..

If you think about it , its not a lot of a-list movie stars like it used to be…i see cate and angie , all the time ,which is great I think their wonderful but ..i guess thats why the older women over 40 are going to tv.Oh yeah..helen miran..i cant think of her last name is fantastic actress but i guess she doesnt bring in the green..
They should pay our Angie that much or more because of her popularity and fame. They don’t put Angie on the most smart celebrity list for nothing. Way to go Angie! We love you.
