OlderReese, Angelina Lead List of Highest-Paid Actresses
Reese Witherspoon ranked number one on The Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of the highest-paid actresses. The 31-year-old actress commands $15 million to $20 million a movie.
Angelina Jolie came in second, and Cameron Diaz came in third with a $15 million-per-movie requirement.
While Angelina and Reese are now asking for $15 million-$20 million per movie, they frequently agree to “no-quote deals” — deals in which the studios actually pay them far less than their usual fee (usually when they take on supporting roles).
Here’s The Hollywood Reporter’s top ten list:

3. Cameron Diaz — $15+ million
4. Nicole Kidman — $10 million-$15 million
5. Renee Zellweger — $10 million-$15 million

10. Halle Berry — $10 million

Jennifer Aniston, is the most profitable actress with a gross income return of £8.50.
Angelina Jolie, ranked sixth with £7.50.

Your numbers are all WRONG !!! You cut and paste and INVENTED those numbers.
Aniston’s ratio is 1:17.
Tom Hank’s ratio is 1:12.
Tom Cruise’s ratio is 1:11.
The Forbes list just means that big stars like Tom Cruise, Will Smith, etc. because of their high salaries actually contrbute less to a film’s profitability, ratio-wise. On the other hand, Aniston contributes more because she is very CHEAP (ratio-wise).
Statistically, it is interpreted as: for every $110 million profits, Tom is being paid $10 million; for every $17 million profits, Aniston is being paid $1 million.
Even Tom has a lower ratio compare to Aniston, I would hire Tom because I can make $110M in profit vs Aniston’s profit of only $17M.
But in the final analysis, Hollywood bosses would prefer Tom over Aniston because $110 million is much greater than $17 million and with Aniston, a profit of $110 million is unlikely but a loss is highly probable.
Hollywood bosses may pay Tom Cruise higher salary because the risks are lower, while they may be hesitant to HIRE Aniston because the risks are greater.

Keep telling it like it is. It is not enough to sustain a marriage or a relationship to just say what you think others want to hear, you have to practice what you are preaching. You can’t do that if what you prize by your actions above all is your career. Can’t be done.
Brad and Angelina practice togetherness, where ever one is to be found so is the other. They arrange their professional and private lives so that they do not endure and will not tolerate long or many separations.
Both say that their family is the most important and valued aspect of their lives. Angelina is going to dial back her professional life for a while in the prime of her career to devote her time to her family. She clearly is more of a “wife”, a true partner to Brad than he has ever had and he knows it.
Both have enriched the other’s life. Both have been changed by their relationship. They seem to be able to deal with life’s ups and downs in a unified manner, and ride the rapids together to find a place of calmness. Both seem happy and satisfied, and living life on their terms for themselves. They exude a determination to make what they have found succeed.
Everybody has choices to make in life. Sometimes the choices made are later regreted as the outcome of those choices is unexpected.
Relationships have to be nourished, not neglected, in order to survive. Running full tilt to build a career in an all or nothing manner after one’s partner has told you that he has feelings for someone else says that you do not value your partner, you do not love your partner as much as your career, your marriage/relationship is just not very important to you. Harsh truth, but truth nevertheless.
Relationships are always destroyed from within, some essential element is missing. Always, without exception.
One other little nugget/thought-Whinners are the ultimate losers, be it man or woman, that is someone who always seeks to place the blame for their actions and subsequent reactions on others.

Such an amazingly beautiful family- inside & out- there is absolutely nothing uppity or snobbish about them- they truly come across as very humble individuals- with the good sense to realize that they are most fortunate and therefore feel a need to give back and do what they can to help those that are less fortunate… such a breath of fresh air and so rare when most of hollywood/stars are so selfish, arrogant and only care about their own self-image and the amount of $$$ they can acquire… if only others would follow their lead…
#644: why can’t you get it that the moment the two got together, a spark was lit? There was no seducing by Angie cause I think it was Brad who did all the courting. He was the one who chased after her and he was the one who made it possible for them to be together. Brad is not some gawky teen who has to be seduced into submission. He is a grown man who knew the facts of life and he is someone who had been pursued by women all over the world for most of his years.
He would have left Aniston anyway with or without an Angie in his life because your idol is a fraud who couldn’t sustain her deceptive ways for long. She couldn’t hold on to her man so he walked. That’s the way life goes. Snooze, you lose…lie and you suffer the consequences when you’re found out.

……Brad and Angie are happy and they have a purpose. All the credits of being the sexiest man alive, being married to America’s sweetheart - Brad left all of that for Angie. Yes, he did, his true love, the mother of his children.
He knows he will be tabloid buffet together with Angie but he did not care. He knows this relationship will affect box office figures, he met the challenge. So, let us give them what is due. Love them for what they want to be. Leave alone their past. It is gone. There are no regrets anymore. Look to their gifts they want to share with us, their talents, their charities and their love of family.
Don’t hate them because they are in love. Don’t hate them because they are happy. Don’t hate them because they are gorgeous. Haters, don’t spend the rest of your life in hatred. If you can’t stand it, do not invade their threads. Life is too short. Brad and Angie are here together for the long haul. I mean TOGETHER. Jennifer had moved on, her heart was mended, she also told Oprah, she had no regrets.

Guys, finally I saw Beowulf this evening. I went after work around 8PM. I went IMAX 3D. It was very good. Phenomenal effects. I love the dragon scene. The movie theater is sold-out. I want to see it on regular theater to see the difference. Angelina scene is awesome. People just stay mum when she emerges from the water.
To fans who have not seen it yet. See it on IMAX as soon as possible because on December 14th the movie I Am Legend will be shown.
