OlderReese, Angelina Lead List of Highest-Paid Actresses
Reese Witherspoon ranked number one on The Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of the highest-paid actresses. The 31-year-old actress commands $15 million to $20 million a movie.
Angelina Jolie came in second, and Cameron Diaz came in third with a $15 million-per-movie requirement.
While Angelina and Reese are now asking for $15 million-$20 million per movie, they frequently agree to “no-quote deals” — deals in which the studios actually pay them far less than their usual fee (usually when they take on supporting roles).
Here’s The Hollywood Reporter’s top ten list:
1. Reese Witherspoon — $15 million-$20 million
2. Angelina Jolie — $15 million-$20 million
3. Cameron Diaz — $15+ million
4. Nicole Kidman — $10 million-$15 million
5. Renee Zellweger — $10 million-$15 million
6. Sandra Bullock — $10 million-$15 million
7. Julia Roberts — $10 million-$15 million
8. Drew Barrymore — $10 million-$12 million
9. Jodie Foster — $10 million-$12 million
10. Halle Berry — $10 million

I agree with no 8 I don’t see it either. She has never been in a movie where I thought I must see it. Only reason I saw Walk the line was because of Joaquin not her and legally blonde ok I just don’t find that kind of humor funny. I think she may go the way of Meg Ryan
Reese is there because her Legally Blonde movies made a lot of money for the studios.
Julia Roberts is the only bonafide Box Office Champ on the list, the rest of the list is wishy washy. Nicole Kidman can act but most of her movies haven’t ever been blockbusters. She gave Tome Cruise two of his biggest bombs, people didn’t even like her until Tom divorced her, she’s always been thought to be cold and what a career move she made, she married a Country Western dude who had to be admitted to rehab.
Julia Roberts is the only Blockbuster lady on the list.
Queen Latifah sells more tickets than Halle Berry. Halle makes duds, no money made on her last four movies.
Reese has potential to make a lot of money in the next ten years if she picks the right viehicles and Amy Adams doesn’t start getting her roles.
