OlderAngelina Jolie is 33rd Smartest in Hollywood
Angelina Jolie recently made Entertainment Weekly’s “The 50 Smartest People in Hollywood” list, coming in at #33. She’s one of the youngest actresses to make the cut with 58-year-old Meryl Streep at #6, 45-year-old Jodie Foster at #30, 38-year-old Cate Blanchett at #45, and 28-year-old Sarah Polley at #49. Here’s what EW had to say:
Angelina, 32, is smart because… “she’s discovered the real value of fame. While keeping fanboys happy with films like Beowulf, she uses her celebrity superpowers for good. Continues to travel the globe as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, the world media in tow, but this year she put her values on screen, too, delivering one of the best performances of her career as Mariane Pearl, widow of slain journalist Daniel Pearl, in June’s A Mighty Heart.”
Angie also picked up the Good Penmanship Award because “she recently wrote for The Economist, alongside fellow contributors the Dalai Lama and French president Nicolas Sarkozy.”

Thank you all….first off - a correction…
National Ledger writers are unpaid, which makes the hacks currently writing nastily about Angelina on that website even more puzzling as that means they are evil c*nts to Angie, for FREE.
The main reason I signed up over there, is to correct the bullsh*t that may be out there and to add a different flavor to the mix. For instance, today they had a piece on the highest paid actresses in HW article - well, that was good news all around for AJ fans right?
Not so at the ledger — one of their celeb contributors ripped into AJ and turned this very positive article about her success on it’s ear. It’s that kind of nastiness that I relayed to ‘the Ledger powers that be,’ over there, that made millions of fans swear to never click on them EVER.
I made my displeasure known - but this time I decided to proactively do something about it.
I could correct the record, I could write the same great stories that we have talked about, and heard about regarding the JPs over the last couple years. Then with NL’s help, I could post the wonderful news, and use their relationship to search engines to get this positive, loving and ‘good news,’ OUT THERE!!
…and afterall, this being the start of ‘Award season,’ we’ll be getting even more terrific news, but I also suspect we’ll also get the bullsh*t lies, slander and slurs too unfortunately.
THIS, is where we can immediately correct the record, and frankly KICK ASS my friends.
I will be writing positive JP stories, and correcting the record when needed (I wish I had had this gig when the ‘ass tear’ made the rounds ) - NL will give us a format and an immediate ‘in’ with search engines EVERYWHERE - hopefully we’ll be posted a LOT(I say ‘we’ because I can’t do it without the fans here, at JJ’s and at all the JP sites everywhere) - pass the link along…send me suggestions for stories - or tell me what needs immediate attention and I’ll try and write about it when I can.

Well, since smart here is not defined as an IQ test, education or academic achievements but rather knowing how to be a top PR machine and getting everyone to fall for the “I am Mother Teresa” deal then I suppose smart she is.
Why is you all who love her believe all the tabloid crap if it is positive but if is negative you say they lie? Why do you hate JA if Brad is “good friends with her” and still cares deeply about her. I say Jen is smarter if you look at bank accounts and real money given to charity. AJ does not give that much to charity and her travels for the UN are always with makeup and hair assistants so there you go. It is all about her, not the worlds needy or disadvantaged. Has she done anything for Zs mother yet?

Oh please. Three pieces (you forgot Shiloh’s dear) in People magazine in three years and that’s “all the time” to you. Yes, they have done these official stories, and they were done in order to diffuse interest so that the razzi would lay off for a while. Which of course, they didn’t. I would say if you actually tried to count the ratio of official pics of the kids Brad and Angie have allowed versus the pap photos I speculate it would be something 500 to 1 easy. Brad and Angie have had no more official spreads than anyone else, including Tom and Katie. PLUS, Brad and Angie’s pieces are always much more interesting and anticipated because they usually include information about other parts of the owrld and other cultures that you would not normally find in a typical celebrity article.
And Tom and Nicole’s kids used to be photgraphed all the time. Or have you forgotten about all those soccer matches and whatnot? We don’t see them now because they are secluded away in a Scientology boarding school having their brains sucked out courtesy of their wack-a-doo daddy and Nicole can’t get to them.
And Angie has an arrangement with the paps, you say? And just how would you know this? Did you read it at TMZ? Oh yeah, well, then I must be true, true, true! Not.
Oops, forgot to mention that I knew Pitt was a dumb@ss for hurting Jen, not leaving as she divorced his sorry @ss,but now see that if this list is really relevent as you folks believe then his absence means he is a dumb@ss! LOL.

AJ is a great UN Ambassador who shed a spotlight on the plight of refugees throughout the world. This is her job. She has been doing this since 2001, long before the demise of the fake Golden Couple and long before poor jen whined and cried throughout the media. She is an inspiring and motivated young woman. She has a large international fan base and has gotten accolades for her amazing performance in AMH. She is a devoted partner and Mother. This cannot be taken away from her no matter the anger and rants of hens. Peace to all.
I see a certain person’s fans are here trying to interject her into Angie’s thread. Some people hate to see Angie doing so well because nothing bad that they predicted about Angie or her career has come true.
