Vanessa Hudgens keeps it cute with a dendrobium orchid in her hair at the 2007 Best Buddies Gala on Saturday in Miami, Florida.
At the gala, the 18-year-old High School Musical star cozied up with Hawaii-native Kelly Hu and track star Carl Lewis.
Just yesterday, Vanessa paid a visit to Ocean Drive Magazine to promote the Best Buddies program.

Someone earlier had remarked that they didn’t find her pretty and I guess that’s their opinion. Everyone DOES have different taste and they are right…..we can’t convince them to find her pretty. “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.” But, that being said, I am happy to say 99% of us find her to be gorgeous, and we’re talking about an 18 yr. old, no where near her peak! She’s stunning now; think of how amazing she’ll look in 5 years or more! She is just going to grow into her beauty even more!!
We supporters don’t honestly care that all of you don’t like her; we do, and I am happy that there tons more of us!!!

Hey, Cute to boot….I totally agree. The core 6 made those movies what they were. Each character was vital to their success!! Vanessa was the sweet, shy one; Ashey, the queen bee; Zac the popular jock; Monique the smart, nerdy one, etc., etc. We loved them all, but I’m sure we have our favorites! And not being a Disney channel watcher, I had no idea who any of them were before theses movies. Now, they have gained more mainstream popularity, outside of Disney. I think they’ll all have good things to look forward to in their careers!
