OlderBest Buddies with Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens pays a visit to Ocean Drive Magazine to promote the charity program Best Buddies on Friday in Miami Beach, Florida.
Best Buddies is a program that provides employment opportunities and one-to-one friendships for people with intellectual disabilities.
The 18-year-old High School Musical star and Best Buddies pal Pelayo Vigil shadowed an office assistant who works at Ocean Drive.
“I’m here today in Miami to support Best Buddies,” Vanessa told NBC6. “Best Buddies is an amazing organization that helps support people with mental disabilities. Today, it actually puts them in jobs, which is why I’m here at Ocean Drive. [Best Buddies] is an amazing program, you know. My manager is the person who actually developed it, and I found out about it and I thought it was an amazing organization. It’s really neat to reach out to people who are, like, fans, too. Just to be able to be a part of their lives is really neat.”
A Best Buddies gala and fundraiser, which will have a performance by Ciara, will be held Saturday night at Bicentennial Park.

Thanks narf. I’ve been wanting to purchase a TV for my PS3 (I mean my brother’s PS3, lol), but I’m debating whether to go with HDTVs or just a regular LCD or a tubeTV since it’s only for gaming and nothing else. hmm…anyone here a TV savy person??

instead of you guys wasting time replying to my comments i should have gotten straight to the point it’s not a bad thing that she shows up to charity events to raise awareness and what not but i don’t see her in the future doing or working for charaties other than the ones she is invited to she might just be another Jessica Simpson who donates nothing but just is there to make an appearance and take a picture with a check she didn’t even contribute anything to i could be wrong but i highly doubt she is the next Angelina Jolie.

i am hopefully goin shoppin in a couple of hours to get some uggs and jacket/winter stuff type, it is supposed to snow here for the next few days. i hope it does but i doubt it actually will.

you’re so right in saying “might”… smart of you. So there’s a good chance that she won’t be just another “jessica simpson” as you say.
And the point is? What is it about people that go in a positive thread about someone doing a good deed and have an inner desire to post something negative? That’s just unhealthy to me…

Hi, I am Zac’s neighbor and you are all sad that there are no Zanessa sightings. Don’t worry because I have brought good news, every night an I mean late night Vanessa would come over to Zac’s house they would have a cute sleepover and Vanessa would leave early morning. I know this because I have a night job.
To the people who think Zac is gay you guys are messed up, he acts like a guy and does everything a guy needs to do. They hang out everyday, they just know how to outsmart the paprazzi.
The list only proves what a dumb (and close minded, and negative and well every bad word really) world we live in and that’s all. Besides, there are a lot of people on that list that people just love Shia LaBeouf , Michael Jackson, Mel Gibson, Chad Michael Murray, Russell Crowe to name a few so it’s a dumb list by dumb people and anyone with half a brain should get that or I feel sorry for them, just as sorry as I feel for those who need to bring other people down to make them feel good.
And I agree with you #200 Lottie, she is just going to be the nest herself, there is no point in trying to be somebody else, something that both V and Z have no intrest in, they know that they’re most happy being who they are.
