Jessica Simpson and her new Dallas Cowboys quarterback beau Tony Romo enjoy a date night out at Teddy’s lounge in West Hollywood on Saturday.
The pair celebrated her former assistant Cacee Cobb’s birthday.
Jessica and Tony (both 27) spent Thanksgiving weekend together in Texas.
It’s been reported that Jessica’s dad, Joe, set up the pretty pair. “Joe and Tony have been friendly for a while,” said a pal of Jessica. “Joe is a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, and Tony has always had a crush on her - he even said on his Web site like a year ago that it was his dream to date her. Jessica has been in Nashville and Dallas recording her new country album. When Tony found out, he called Joe and said, ‘I know she’s not dating anyone right now, can I take her out for a drink at least?’ Jessica said it was OK for Joe to give Tony her number and they hit it off. They’ve been dating for a couple of weeks now, and Jessica is so happy. She’s been texting everyone about how great he is.”

How can you judge the chemistry when they are walking into a club -bearing in mind it is a new relationship, there are photogs going crazy and they’d probably be a bit anxious about the initial press attention and of course with the fact that already magazines like Us Weekly are having a go at them (or at least Jessica)..
I saw photos of them at the airport where he had his arm round her and was smiling. It was a long distance shot so he probably felt more relaxed.
Wow, I guess cruelty runs on all the threads…..anyway, I think they look good together, but….I don’t think Papa Simpson should be getting involved in his daughters’ life anymore. She messed up a good thing because of him. I honestly don’t trust that man’s motives. He probably came up with this idea for publicity for Jessica. Tony and Jessica both look very unhappy. I don’t give this “relationship” long before its over. Jessica looks like crap too. Her hair is pretty but yikes the make up is not flattering. To me it seems they were uncomfortable being photographed together. But according to reports from the party, they were seen giggling with each other having a good time so I don’t know if its fair to judge a few pictures to the state of their “relationship.”

Funny thing when he was with Carrie she was known as a snotty little princess down here amongst the fans cuz she would not acknowledge the fans but with jess she talks, takes pictures and signs autographs at the game.
