Jessica Simpson and her new Dallas Cowboys quarterback beau Tony Romo enjoy a date night out at Teddy’s lounge in West Hollywood on Saturday.
The pair celebrated her former assistant Cacee Cobb’s birthday.
Jessica and Tony (both 27) spent Thanksgiving weekend together in Texas.
It’s been reported that Jessica’s dad, Joe, set up the pretty pair. “Joe and Tony have been friendly for a while,” said a pal of Jessica. “Joe is a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, and Tony has always had a crush on her - he even said on his Web site like a year ago that it was his dream to date her. Jessica has been in Nashville and Dallas recording her new country album. When Tony found out, he called Joe and said, ‘I know she’s not dating anyone right now, can I take her out for a drink at least?’ Jessica said it was OK for Joe to give Tony her number and they hit it off. They’ve been dating for a couple of weeks now, and Jessica is so happy. She’s been texting everyone about how great he is.”

I think Tony and Jessica are a perfect couple. I even think she would make a great NFL wife. Her career seems to be over so I think she’s ready to settle down and be Mrs. Tony Romo, one of the biggest celebrities in Dallas. I think she might even be happy with that life.

I am so glad Tony is no longer hanging out with Carrie. Finally he woke up and realized Carrie is just boring and uptight. I would have preferred he go out with Sophia, but at least Jessica has a personality, a dumb one, but at least she’s sweet, instead of bitchy like ol country bore Carrie.

I saw a video of Jessica on ET at a party and another actor who was probably “B” list at best & he was good looking and he tried to ask her out and she quickly turned him down in a rude fashion. This woman is not looking for love she is looking for status & money, that is why she married Nick in the first place not for love (maybe a little love) but mainly to achieve fame and once she received what she thought was her security in HW she dumped Nick like a bad habit. Jessica & Joe are just fishing for their next big break, nothing more.

The ladies Romo has been linked with are making him “famous” outside of Dallas. If Tony was dating just a regular girl, nobody would care and probably still think Tony Romo is some rib place. If anything, it is Tony who is using Jessica for publicity and not the other way around. But, I’ve heard very good things about Tony, so I doubt it.
